We really enjoyed our stay, great location and the city itself is fantastic. Nice to have the provided bus pass to get around town and so many great places to explore. Everything was clean and nice. All around great experience with very friendly hosts. Would highly recommend

Nice and simple if you're just needing somewhere to sleep at night. Very clean and comfortable. The fridge being restocked daily for free (water, soda and beer) was an excellent touch, also some snacks on arrival. Check in was very easy, I actually didn't see a single member of staff during my stay, they were definitely there, I just didn't see them since I was gone all day. Location is excellent 15/20 mins walk from the main train station, or jump on the bus for 5 mins (city travel pass is included for free). I enjoyed walking along the lake to get into town. Highly recommend a visit to the top of Mount Pilatus! Overall a great place, I would stay again!

Excellent position near the lake, no views. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the main center, but they offer free bus transportation, and bus number 6 stops only. The lake is breathtaking. The room was spacious. It says that it has a shower, but there isn't a toilet. So, be prepared to leave your room if you need it at night. It's difficult to sleep in front-of-house rooms as there aren't many on the main road, so we would advise booking a room at the back of the house if at all feasible. Be prepared to climb stairs as there's no lift and no help with luggage. The lady who greeted us was very informative, but the man who served breakfast offered only eggs and had to ask for an omelet because he was just going to boil them. Arrive early as there are only three parking spaces.

We slept here one night when we were in London. The villa is close to a major road and a railroad. Im usually a slumbering person, and I don't mind much, but it was difficult to slumber like that! We turned on the fan because it was sooo hot. People were showering even past midnight, and of course you could hear everything! The room was cozy, but it had one blanket and a tiny 140x 200 bed. It was clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the location is good, close to the lake and 20 minutes on foot from town. I wouldn't stay here again, and I'm only giving three stars since I thought it was clean, the breakfast was good, and the location is good.

The price is reasonable compared to other hotels. The house is beautiful with a nice garden where you can enjoy breakfast while listening to bird song. The room is clean and the host is friendly and helpful.

villa maria is a hidden gem! There is no front desk, so it's just a relatively simple self-check-in hotel with very spacious, modern, and clean rooms. The beds were very comfortable with the fluffiest donnas and pillows imaginable. It was like lying on a cloud. The rooms have lake views, and they do the same with the two rooms we have. It's a pleasant pleasant walk along the lakeside to town. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Very small small solo nook, everything is comfortable, with a working desk, a fully functional refrigerator, and wonderful amenities design touch. They checked us in and everything worked. All in all a fantastic little find!
