I would happily return to this Martha in awe! This hotel's central courtyard was fantastic for my husband and I. The employees are wonderful, accommodating, and welcoming, and the breakfast in my kitchen is absolutely fantastic! The staff is quite polite, accommodating, and cordial! The buildings higher levels have nice views and the accommodations are nice. We stayed on 17, which faces a few mountains and was at the fitness center's north-facing 17th floor. I had a great time at this hotel. There is a neighborhood bus stop right outside the hotel, and the metro station is about 5 minutes away, making it convenient for travel anywhere in the city. We took the metro from the airport to the main train station before using a taxi, which cost just a few dollars in total, including train fare. It is also 5 minutes from the Taipei main railway station, so we took the metro from the airport to the main train station, then took a taxi, and it took us on a tour to the Avalon whiskey distillery, which can be more expensive. We were able to get a private taxi from the hotel to take us to Milan, where we visited the Avalon whiskey distillery. After leaving the Marriott before boarding a flight to Hong Kong, I stayed here for one night. This was again my second courtyard stay in Taipei and much nicer than any other in the us. Checking was quick and I was in a room with a city view. At least, the room was large, quiet, and comfortable. Overall a contemporary design, but I will ask one looking at Taipei 101 next time. Due to an early flight out, I was unable to use the gym or eat the breakfast buffet. The price was a little more expensive than the courtyard at the hanging station, closer to downtown but a little further to the metro station and my office. I'll try to reserve again so I can experience what this hotel has to offer.

After checking out of the Marriott, I stayed here for one night before taking a flight to Hong Kong. This was my second courtyard stay in Taipei, and it was even better than any of those in the US. Checking went smoothly and I was in my room with a city view. At the very least, the room was big, quiet, and comfortable. I would inquire from someone facing Taipei 101 next time. Due to an early departure, I was unable to use the gym or eat at the breakfast buffet. The cost was a little higher than the courtyard at the hanging station, closer to downtown, but a little further to the metro station and my office. I'll try to make a reservation once more so I can experience more of what this hotel has to offer.

I got the room here after a layover, so I didn't enjoy any of the facilities. I was surprised when I was upgraded to taipei 101 view 1705. The room was nice and cozy. Very spacious with a sitting area and a large sofa to chill and unwind. There is a bathroom shower with a separate deep tub. So clean and modern! Would stay here again and enjoy all that the hotel and surrounding area have to offer.

The rooms are nice and are on the higher floors of the building, giving great views. We stayed on 17 by the fitness center facing north, which faces some mountains. I really liked the location of this hotel. Its about 5 minutes from the metro station where you can go anywhere in the city, and there is a local bus stop right in front of the hotel. Its also 5 minutes from the main train station so we took the subway from the airport to the main train station and then a taxi, just a few dollars in total including train fare. I think it's a better option than taking a taxi or an uber which can cost more. The hotel helped us arrange a private taxi to take us on a tour to Mira where we visited avalon whiskey distillery. The hotel is about 1520 minutes walking to the main fish market, which has great seafood options. It's a safe, easy walk and really worth going if you like seafood. I would definitely stay at this married again! Note there are 2 different courtyards by Marriott in Taipei.
