My wife and I stayed here in february 2018, for the lunar new year period, and we thought the hotel was in a very good location because we wanted to be in Fengyuan. The room was a really good size and the bed was enormous and comfortable. The staff was very polite and helpful at all times. The only negative comment would be about breakfast it does not have the widest variety for a European but we were the only westerners staying there at the time.

I like this hotel because it is close to the train station and other transportation services. There are still construction activities for the new station, even when the elevated station is officially opened. The hotel staff is still as delicate as before. The room is showing signs of age and the breakfast is not as sophisticated as before. Overall, the hotel is still the best in feng yuan.

Overall, fantastic value for money!. The hotel is located right next to Fengyuan train station, making it easy to find food, coffee, or 711. My room was very quiet and comfortable, the front desk was very helpful and friendly, and there is a police station right next to the hotel. However, the hotel parking lot is outside, so it is not very convenient if it rains.

I stayed in many superior hotels with better rooms for less money. The Grand City Hotel is not as it seems, it's not in Taichung, but in a smaller town called Fengyuan, but it's a hotel. The Hotel advertises it has a bar and several restaurants, well the teppanyaki and the bar have been closed since June 2018. Breakfast is the only meal in the hotel. I'll return to the town of Fengyuan's breakfast experience. There is very little for westerners, no real eateries serving alcohol with the meal or even a menu in English. There is just one bar that opens when it feels like it's difficult to locate delicious food in Fengyuan, and if you want alcohol, the 7-11 at the railway station is the best option. Hotel rooms are clean, small, ok, I've stayed in much better hotels with better rooms for less expensive hotel breakfast. Well, this is definitely not a good choice for western tastes. I tried most of the things offered but ended up with toast, marmalade and coffee every day. Usually vegetables, some kind of meat, and for some reason served in large posts with lids, but the lids were kept open, so the food became cold. After a few days, I left this hotel and moved to Taichung City, which

The location was also close to Fengyuan Train Station, and the atmosphere was very quiet. The cleanliness of the room was also very good.
