Our mistake was misunderstanding that this hotel is in the middle of nowhere in Dongshi township which is fine if you just want a weekend getaway, but we were traveling from the USA and didn't have a car, so we didn't know how we were going to get dinner. As we don't have to share rooms with other travelers, the hotel is in a rural area and is undoubtedly not a hostel. Each room has a color theme, a cute stuffed animal seated somewhere out in the corner, and in the lobby area that felt more like a very large and modern living room with an eating kitchen, and many quirky decorations that really make the location very attractive. As residents of the city, the rural view is breathtaking. Its nothing special, but I have never seen any rice fields before and they are all we saw. When one woman took us upstairs, she showed us where to put our shoes, asked us to wear slippers everywhere, and explained what time it was, and explained what time breakfast was. We told her we didn't have a car so didn't know what we would do for dinner, and she said if she had driven her car that day she would have been willing to take us to the city area to get dinner. We found street food just a few blocks away by Mecha Lake. The next morning, they were very accommodating in assisting us finding

Especially for families with children, this hostel has a good and friendly atmosphere. The room is spacious, with toys, slides, electric car, and bikes are available to play with kids. It's simple to find and there is parking available.
