This hotel is located in a kinda area in the old town of Stone Town. The location is fantastic, you are close to all interesting parts of Stone Town. The hotel's staff is very pleasant and helpful. Every evening, the rooms are disinfected with insect repellent. The rooms are large with a nice bed and mosquito net, wifi worked perfectly, and there is a refrigerator in the room. The restaurant is located on the top floor and offers wonderful views of Stone Town. Excellent breakfast in the restaurant. For dinner, the restaurant is one of the cheaper options, but the competition is strong from other restaurants so you'll probably eat something else there? Guides and taxi services are excellent, though a little on the pricey, the quality is also very good!.

This is a really lovely hotel, perfectly situated for walking tours of Stone Town. The rooftop breakfasts were delicious and the staff was attentive and helpful. We had a wonderful stay.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were spacious, clean and culturally intriguing. Rooftop breakfasts were very nice. Located in the heart of Stone Town, the hotel was well situated for walking tours of historic sites, shopping, and access to the scenic harbor. Airport shuttles and island tours were set up nicely through the front desk.

We were only there for 2 nights, but were well looked after by the staff. It is very central, but NOT where it is shown on hotel.com's website. please use Google to see where it really is. This was clearly pointed out by me to hotels.com, but their call centre agent was incapable of resolving this. Our room was totally acceptable for a mid-range hotel. Breakfast is simple and is served in a roof-top restaurant. it's nothing spectacular, but we'd definitely stay again.

We stayed for 3 nights with our two kids (4 and 7) in Asmini Palace and we liked it very much. The room was very clean and we had two big beds with mosquito nets. The breakfast was very good and all the staff were extremely friendly and warmhearted. It´s very close to the House of Wonders and in just a few minutes you are in the hustle and bustle of Stone Town. The roof top terrace is nice as well.

Das Hotel hat einen antiken Flair, schön ist das servierte Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse. Man kommt überall schnell hin und obwohl wir meist die einzigen Gäste waren, wurde sich um alles gekümmert und die Rezeption war 24h besetzt.

This hotel is in a great central location. Very close to Mercury's which is a great bar though the food took a very long time to arrive - but highly recommend for a drink - which come surprisingly fast. The rooms were very large, clean, comfortable and tastfully decorated. The wifi only works in the lobby or rooftop area which is a bummer but not a deal breaker for me. Our room came with breakfast which was Al a Carte and delicious. The staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming. The night guard even took time after his shift to help us navigate the markets and shops. The hotel is smaller and not well know among the taxi drivers though our driver was able to ask around and find it. The fact that it is close to Mercury's helps as that is well know. We would definately stay again.

I enjoy staying at this hotel in Stonetown. It has character, is very clean and friendly. The breakfast on the hotel roof is delicious, with a great view of Stonetown. It's quiet and the reception staff is very helpful.

Okay location, good location. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but changed it to 1 night. Try to negotiate the rates. The rooms are clean. Shower is open in the bathroom without a partition. Water pressure is very low. There are noises from the street in the evenings and you can hear the noise from the hotel lobby as the hotel is built in an old way so the rooms are not very well isolated. The room doesn't have a balcony and you can't open the windows.

The staff are really nice. The internet fluctuates constantly. The problem is from the provider, I asked and was told the problem was from the provider. To has no signal. The toilet doors shut and open loudly. I put some oil on them to quiet them down. Our second holiday was over, but we won't ever go back. It isn't a 4 star hotel or cost. I and my family arrived at the asking palace hotel in february 2021 around 1400 his.

We had an excellent time and felt quite well taken care of. Given the cost, the breakfasts were adequate and reflected what youd anticipate. Our comfortable bedroom had a small balcony on the third floor, letting us only go one level up to the rooftop restaurant with a view of Stone Town. Most of the personnel at the front desk were kind and pleasant. The majority of our interactions were with the courteous and helpful members of the front desk. We had no reasons to return to Stone Town, so we needed an atm when we arrived in Matemwe about ten days later. When we came to say hello, we were promptly recognized. Actually, that's not true, my girlfriend needed the loo, so we hoped we might be allowed to utilize their amenities. Finding a toilet in Stone Town is not simple! Palace, thanks. Anyway, would we return to the asking "yes, certainly!" if we visited Stone Town again?.
