Das Zimmer (Deluxe Villa) war ganz gut, nicht super luxuriös aber recht gut. Kapsel-Kaffemaschine, Kühlschrank, Himmelbett, innen- und Außendusche. Terrasss und Meerblick. Personal fantastisch und sehr freundlich. Der General Manager Ajaywar sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Anlage ist wundervoll. Am Strand ist man um 8 Uhr früh komplett alleine und sonst sind auch nicht viele Gäste. Das Essen war sehr gut besonders die Events am Strand bzw. beim Pool. Wir waren im Januar 2026 für 2 Wochen in diesem Resort. Jederzeit gerne wieder. Top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ich hatte in meinem Leben etwa 5000 Hotelübernachtungen, das sage ich damit ihr Bescheid wisst, dass ich mich gut auskenne mit Hotels

Some travelers forget they are visiting a foreign country and overlook local conditions, policies, & environment. Many common complaints can be avoided by reading details planning ahead, and communicating clearly. I believe in forming my own experience —and I’m so glad I did. My experience was a 10,000/10. The staff and service were exceptional from start to finish. Everyone was professional, patient, and made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. Juma, the Front Office Manager, arranged my round-trip airport transfer with Emanuel who shared local history along the way. Juma clearly explained my package and handled a small misunderstanding on my end with patience and helpful solutions. Consolata, the receptionist, welcomed me warmly and made me feel at home immediately. I arrived early, and she personally showed me around the property while sharing its history, which I truly appreciated. Ramso, my butler, was outstanding—attentive, calm, and genuinely caring. When I had a room issue (my mistake), he went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, moving me to a room that exceeded expectations. I would absolutely request him again! Chef Mohammed delivered excellent meals from breakfast to dinner. The food was fresh, authentic, healthy, and flavorful, and his passion truly shows. Overall, I loved the scenery, privacy, cleanliness, safety, and peaceful atmosphere. Fruit & Spice is perfect for relaxation and exceptional service. I highly recommend this resort. — LissaKayy

I stayed for 7 nights and found the room comfortable. The premises are beautifully maintained, especially the pool and gardens, and the property is very clean throughout. The staff are extremely friendly and approachable—Julius in particular is a real star: a young man always willing to help. Negative points: There is no ATM on site, and reception cannot always break large notes, which made tipping staff difficult. As a result, I wasn’t able to tip as much as I would have liked. Basic amenities such as hair conditioner had to be requested almost daily. TV has basic channels only and was not working properly. Also internet is fast but losing signal quiet often due to electrical faults within the property. The food offers plenty of variety but does not quite meet a 5-star standard. Alcoholic drinks and bottled water are also not included in the package. Overall, I still recommend visiting this beautiful venue by the sea, especially for its peaceful setting and private beach. I will be back for sure!

Excellent hôtel bien intégré dans l'environnement et situé dans une zone préservée de Zanzibar. Très beaux bâtiments, très belle piscine, une belle petite plage calme et un service excellent. Je recommande fortement le Fruit & Spice Resort à toute personne souhaitant se rendre à Zanzibar et voulant éviter les zones trop touristiques envahies d'hôtels dont souffre l'ile.

Great beach. Clean rooms and common areas. Good food. Friendly staff. Overall we had a wonderful time. Things to improve- 1. Access road to the hotel is really bad. 2. All dishes should be named and allergies taken seriously. 3. A table and chair would be useful in the rooms. 4. Gym is very basic. 5. Activities like exercise sessions in the pool, beach yoga, cooking demos will further enhance the value of the Hotel.

Alot of thought has gone into the different little expierances you can have, in areas you can choose to relax. Food and drinks were great! We were up-graded to a amaising luxury villa! Our butler Ramson was very attentive and thoughtful. He really went the extra mile staying up and helping us with our cases at 12.30am and helping with our taxi. Wir hatten eine absolut wundervolle Zeit in der Honeymoon Villa (Danke für das Upgrade) und sind wirklich glücklich, dass wir diesen Ort für unseren besonderen Urlaub gewählt haben. Die Villa war atemberaubend – wunderschön eingerichtet und bot den perfekten Rückzugsort, um unsere Ferien in vollen Zügen zu genießen. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und aufmerksam. Man konnte deutlich spüren, dass ihnen wirklich daran gelegen ist, unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich zu machen. Unser Butler Ramson war besonders herausragend – er hat jeden unserer Wünsche vorhergesehen und alles getan, um uns verwöhnt und umsorgt zu fühlen. Seine Professionalität und Herzlichkeit haben unseren Aufenthalt noch spezieller gemacht und unvergessliche Momente geschaffen, die wir für immer in Erinnerung behalten werden. Außerdem war das Essen einfach großartig! Die Küche war erstklassig, die Gerichte waren köstlich und abwechslungsreich. Dieses Erlebnis hat unsere Ferien wirklich außergewöhnlich gemacht. The beach was still under construction but there were many day trips we had booked that brought us to other beaches on the island. I would love to stay here again in the future!

My stay was amazing! The staff were all super friendly and very accommodating! I had a 24 hour butler names Ramadhan, he was THEE BEST! Only downside is that the resort is pretty remote from restaurants, shops, etc so you will have to take a taxi or possibly rent a car. But i would definitely come back!

The resort is lovely, staff are all wonderful. The resort is secluded, nice and private. Very quiet, lovely area. The staff are extremely nice and attentive. The resort food was delicious; the gift shop very nice. The pool was very refreshing while the beach was breezy and so comfortable to nap on. I also loved seeing the Masai walking around the property, they were nice and more than happy to take pictures with. I will definitely recommend and return to the resort in the future!

We had amazing 9 days staying in the Fruit & Spice Well nes Resort. Hotel is very nicely located and is neighbouring beautiful sandy beach. We had stayed in Superior Junior Suite for the first 5 days and each of them has adjacent small sandy area with sunbeds, umbrella and amazing ocean view (rocky shore so you cannot enter the sea). As there were only 4 sunbeds most of the time it was like a private area only for our couple. The food at restaurant was delicious and the choice would satify most people both for breakfast and dinner. There were bars at the lobby, at the pool and on the beach providing soft and alcoholic drinks at reasonable prices. The staff was very kind, friendly (reception, restaurants, pool, all) very responsive and helpful (not offensive). I would like to especially mention Ramson our jungle villa buttler (second part of our stay was in jungle villa) who was absolutely exceptional, proactively helping us with anything we needed, but at the same time respecting our privacy. Thank you Ramson! Sumarizing we loved our stay. One thing we would recommend to the management is to ensure that access to the sea from jungle villas is reconstructed ASAP.

We stayed in a jungle villa for a few nights and had a very nice stay. Staff is very friendly, food is very tasty and room was always very clean. Ramso was at our service and he did an amazing job, he was so heartwarming and proactive, regularly asking us how we are and if we need something, asante sana! All communication was done via Whatsapp. Be aware that in the jungle villa, the animals surrounding can be loud in the night! The last patch of road to the hotel is not paved but that is a minor thing. Unfortunately, the hotel does not have an ATM and the front desk was unable to hand out cash that we wanted for the last 2 days as we ran out...
