Important Information for Your Stay at Tanganyika Coastal Campsite We're located inside Saadani National Park, just 138 km from Julius Kambarage Nyerere International Airport (Dar es Salaam)and only 45 km from Zanzibar by boat. To ensure a smooth experience, please arrange your transportation in advance, especially if you're arriving by air or sea.
The Saadani National Park gates are open daily from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We recommend planning your arrival during these hours to avoid any inconvenience. If you’re arriving on a late-night flight, it’s a good idea to book accommodation near the airport for the night, then start your journey to Saadani the following morning.
Official fees by TANAPA: Park Entry (per day):
- Adults: USD 35.40
- Children (5–15 yrs): USD 11.80
- Infants (under 5): Free.
