The unit is charming and has a lot of character, but earplugs are required for sleep at night due to the noisy street it faces. Its expensive for the area it is situated. I enjoyed the hospitality and friendly staff.4.8/518 Mar 2024

I am divided when i give this hotel a rating. On the other hand, this is shabby boutique hotel that has been meticulously renovated. It is lovely and charming. As its name suggests, it used to be an old publishing house. The location is excellent, with several attractions within walking distance. All of our expectations were met and exceeded. With the exception of one critical area, its not entirely their fault because the hotel is right next to the main road, but the noise level is too severe to ignore, especially if you are prone to light sleep. This doesnt help that their rooms are all facing the road at all, however, unless your room is on the lower floor (2nd floor, things get worse. Im not sure Whether there can be any improvements in the building to reduce the levels of noise in rooms (these building materials should have been made during the renovation), but ive advised the hotels management to take this into account. My advice to other visitors is to make sure your accommodation is located on ets 3rd to minimize street noise. In conclusion, my recommendation for other guests is making sure their room was on higher floors to avoid street disturbances. Overall, here is the one to stay despite the noisy environment and are looking for4.6/512 Jan 2024

I adore the design and feel of this boutique hotel. The ideal location to unwind and enjoy some peace before heading back into the bustling city. Strongly advised! Staying at the Bangkok publishing residence is like entering a fantastic novel and becoming one of the wonderful characters in it. The staff are above and beyond they all feel like old friends that you havent seen in ages. There is genuine care. All the buildings, foyers and rooms are aesthetically pleasing. Such an aesthetic comes from careful eye, its personal and unique. Nothing has been overlooked. Walking around the immediate area is enjoyable and one feels very included in the community. And not to forget that by crossing the bridge, you are entering Bangkoks old city, which is great to explore before retiring to your room to enjoy all the carefully curated reading material available. A great place to stay if you want to explore the old city of bangkok. Temples, museums, food, boat rides, and so on. Bpr itself is a place for exploring. The design theme is from bpor, lots of private collections, from childhood toys to Honda monkey bikes, taverns with lots more englishlanguage books, unique hallways and stairs, dual shuttle door lift, video arcade, pinball machine, etc. Many more things you dont see much nowadays. Traffic noise can be annoying for some, but i provide earplugs for light sleepers. Basically, after many miles of walking and putting up with the comfortable bed, you wont need them. Great job for conserving the Bangkok printing house, especially the outdated mild steel windows. Ohh. My wife and my stay at brisbane made my wife feel very welcome and will return to visit birmuk again.4.4/56 Dec 2023
