An unforgettable getaway in a very special place. Beautiful scenery, wonderful food, and a wonderful environment. The smells are sometimes mangrove-like, but the peaceful spirit, the views, the water, and the grins of the inhabitants add up to this place. Clean and charming accommodations.

Bank Mako was a wonderful place to stay. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is another hotel with a lovely open bar at the end of the beachcove with a completely unobstructed view on the other side of the beach. The location of this small hotel is on the river. The rooms are not incredibly peaceful or new, but they are really beautiful and have a distinctive vibe. We adored taking a shower outdoors. The location is excellent. We frequented the river from our room, where we fell into it several times. There is another hotel with a lovely open bar at the turn of the beachcoast with a completely unobstructed view on the beach in five minutes that is freely accessible for free, and the boat ride will transport you to a lovely, almost deserted beach. The bank mako restaurant is also our first stop. It shouldn't be crowded at 247, but it isn't. Its not the most costly on the island or anything comparable, but it is incredible and we have eaten a lot of Thai food, making it an excellent value.

I hope you enjoy your stay at Bank Mako. What a great place to relax. You can stay here for two or three nights and you will discover a place that is totally ours with delicious cuisine and fantastic cocktails. Make sure to visit Kot, because this is an unforgettable experience. After all those typical beach resorts, we also adored it because it was so unique and special.

We stayed in Bank Mako on December 19 and it's a little hidden paradise. We were very well taken care of. Thanks to all the staff for the warm atmosphere and the amazing New Year's Dinner Party... I'll never forget it. Please don't change, we'll be back!.

The meal here is also excellent. We stayed at Bank Mako for four nights and loved it. We stayed in room 8 which was lovely, with views and a deck overlooking the mangroves. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, even taking us out to see the fireflies. The beach is stunning and there was none there, kayaking there takes only a few minutes. However, there are a lot of sand flies, which is the case on any peaceful beach where they are not disturbed. You are very secluded here and quite a distance from other restaurants and bars, but it is easy to hire a motorcycle or taxi, and the serenity is lovely.
