The location is good, just a short walk to khao san road. The beds are comfortable with air conditioning. The showers are ok but not the best. The staff are nice and helpful. Good size hostel and relaxed atmosphere with lounge areas not too crowded. Peanut the cat let me stroke him a few times but we didnt really see eye to eye, he preferred to sleep!.

Very accommodating and friendly management. They were very helpful in providing necessary information about the commute and other things in bangkok. You can even take a cycle of them when you show them. The shared beds are very good and the bath and toilet are well maintained. Its very competitively priced and worth the money to stay here as it is close to many prominent places in Bangkok.

I spent five nights at the Born Free and had such a great time. This hostel is set up in such a way that it is really easy to meet people. This was very important for me when traveling alone because i like socializing. The staff is amazing, very friendly, helpful, and full of smiles. I loved them so much. Everyone was fantastic. The rooms are clean, the young woman cleaned the room every day and changed used bedding. I know its a concern that the bedding is not changed. I would definitely recommend this hostel for solo travelers, and there were also a few couples there. I stayed in the sixbed room on the top floor, and the ac was perfect. This room even has a terrace where you can hang out and hang your wet clothes if you need to wash. The only thing hard for me was the bed was a bit hard, but this is my first time to thai, and from places ive been, they are all on the harder side. If you have a back problem like me, you might want to think about this. Apart from that, i had a great time and would recommend this place to friends for the amazing people and camaraderie. I had a great time at born free! Oh, and they will arrange all your tours for you, pick up at door A.

Ein entspanntes Hostel in einer angenehmen Lage. Nicht zu weit weg von der „Feiermeile“ und den Shoppingmalls im Zentrum. Auch drum herum hat man alles, was man braucht. Selbst wenn man mal einen Tag nichts machen möchte, weil man auf die große Stadt Bangkok keine Lust mehr hat, kann man dort in der „Chillout-Area“ abhängen, bisschen schlafen, lesen und die entspannte Musik hören. Im Born Free Café auf der anderen Seite kann man außerdem gut frühstücken. Für Omlettefans empfiehlt meine Freundin dort das Omlette. ;)

It wasnt the best hostel, the rooms were fine, and the staff were nice but a bit pushy. They sell tours at a reasonable price, which is nice and are within walking distance from khao san road. If they had more washrooms and night lights my rating would be 4 stars. Also not very convenient for airport transportation some hostels offer transfers for cheaper than taxis definitely an option worth looking for.

I had a great time staying here! Made incredibly close friends! You can meet new people in the laidback area! Its more laidback than a party hostel, in my opinion! The beds are so close together that there isnt much space between them in the rooms, but thats just part of the experience, hehe. For two or three nights, i believe it to be worthwhile. Everything is immaculate, the personnel is really kind, and you can use the refrigerator and kitchen.

The hostel is beautiful and conveniently located near the center. The staff and manager are very kind and accommodating. At $6 per night, a good price for a bed. Its also a quieter hostel. Its a great place to relax and hang around while still getting to know people. I will definitely come back.

Salah satu hostel terbaik di Thailand. Akan kembali kapan saja! Suasana di Born free benar-benar luar biasa. Lounge yang sangat bagus dan nyaman dan stafnya sangat ramah dan membantu. Kamar tidur (AC) sangat bersih dan fungsional tapi bagus.

This place is a great place with a pleasant atmosphere. The place is tidy and cozy. People can unwind, drink, or work. You can order food at a reasonable cost, such as the largest and cheapest mango and sticky rice ive seen in Thailand for 90 baht. The manager can be helpful because he speaks three languages english, german, and french. Theres a kitchen, an amazing cat, and if that wasnt enough, you can also borrow a bicycle for free. Its only five minutes from the city center. Simply reserve a bed right away!.

The hostel is located in a lovely, cozy neighborhood of bangkok. The rooms are cool and comfortable, and there are nice bathrooms and a relaxing area for socializing with other travelers before and after checkin and checkout. The staff there are lovely and friendly, and they are passionate about Thailand, so they have lots of tips on where to explore and the cheapest ways to do it! Amazing food is also a 2minute walk away in any direction. I highly recommend this place for a night or longer stay. There are also a couple of laidback cats hanging around.

I would recommend staying here. This is a great and safe hostel. Comfortable. Lakman is one of the nicest people ive ever met. He is professional and courteous. If you are going here, ask him. He deserves a raise. Excellent. 5 stats.
