The views of the Kai River from the river camp are breathtakingly breathtaking, but the facilities do not live up to the description on the website. Everything is pretty shabby and needs a lick of paint or some running repairs. Furniture has not been chosen for comfort, and the comfort mattress bed that is advertised on their website has to be one of the hardest I have ever slept on. Also, I have slept on some pretty firm beds on my travels around the world. And given that most travellers I believe come to the river camp looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of being close to nature, the loud Thai upcountry and western combo that blares from the speakers throughout dinner may not appeal to everyone. The food is plentiful but basic and comparatively bland in a country where food is usually packed with vibrant flavours and most of the staff are well intentioned and keen to please but poorly trained.

The city of Covina is a short distance from the hotel. Large properties are located on a forest floor. The best part of the hotel is that it is almost stuck in its activities if you're not driving there. Even in the dry season, there are a ton of mosquitoes, which is unusual. The breakfast is a typical buffet with poorly thought out offerings, and the Thai diet is average and pricey. The river view villa was of decent quality, but it's nothing exceptional for the $4,00 price. The staff was friendly, and the internet ranged from bombs to. Yes, 02. Upload was impossible. The property is nice walks, and the museum was outdated and dilapidated. Nice old train there, which surprised us. Although the elephant encounter is not a must-see these days, day trips are pricey, and if you are visiting from overseas, youll find it entertaining because it has a tropical rainforest atmosphere, even though it is not. The pool was quite small, the leisure pedal boats were outdated, and the sky walk I was astonished by but didn't want to take a risk on safety concerns. I scheduled three days, and remained one.

I was attracted to this fantastic raft. Moreover, the condition of the boat is quite clean and comfortable, which feels very safe as well as the function design, which has a strong structure. I wouldnt think about returning. I had 90m 2 rooms when I was reading papplications blurb, filled with old teak furniture. Big mistake. The entire room might be 90m 2, but that includes the maintenance area, the area with the air condensers, and the delightful raft area outside. The bedroom itself is about 30m 2. And the walls are not teak panelled as one gets the impression, but the cheap rataanstyle boarding. However, the toilet and shower area are firstrate. However, as misrepresentative the images, the place is a delight and the view of the river and jungle from your bed is worth $300 or whatever. Despite the resort organises horriblely expensive expeditions and the rather average food is expensive and plus, plus. The downside is that youre clearly a little captive here, despite the resorts horrendously priced expeditions and the rather average meals are expensive and plus, plus. The breakfast, too, is very standard standard cold bacon and should be better and more inspirational despite the room rate, but the staff will fall over themselves to serve you. Putting up and down the room may irritate some, despite what I thought it was therapeutic! Am I grateful I spent the night here?.. 100. I dont think so.

They offer a variety of activities and we took a one-hour boat trip there. You'll start at the pier, where the boat arrives to pick you up. It's already in a remote place, right out of nowhere. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotels are built up of floating bungalows that are connected to one another and have an eatery in the center. The hotel has an incredible wow effect in my experience. There is an elevator that runs all along the bungalows and descends the stairs to the land. Each bungalow has its own balcony overlooking the river. The backyard is peaceful, and the views of the river are just breathtaking. The pool is lovely, and the beds and linens are very comfy. We didn't like that the bathroom lacks a ceiling that includes the separated restroom and lack of privacy. Moreover, each floating unit has two rooms separated by a set of doors on either side. The whole staff, including the lobby, restaurant, and housekeeping, are all excellent and helpful. We went there for a coffee because the place looks fantastic as well. We also saw a lot of people swimming in the river as well! Overall, we had a lovely time at the boathouse, a lovely location, beautiful scenery, nice and welcoming personnel as I mentioned before, good vibesfeel good atmosphere, ideal for a short vacation to unwind.

Our third visit to the boathouse. Emails were always promptly answered by the front desk staff. We were given our two requests for room ve and ve. This time, we chose to remain half board, which I wouldn't have been on our previous visits because we often had dinner ala carte. As always, it was as lovely and serene as usual, but on this visit, I believe the standards have dropped. I felt less let down by the eatery when I came. The housekeeping trolleys were out untimely next to the reception area, which made the restaurant appear to be absent. We stayed for four nights, and the restaurant manager appeared absent. Despite being cheerful and cheerful service, the restaurant seemed to be absent. We never knew what the dishes were because the waiters did not speak enough English to express them. Maybe they should print a menu every day for halfboard guests to let at least let us know what we would be eating. The desserts appeared as an afterthought and had no choice, as well as my sister's foot was cut off by the vent around the pool. Again, a very enjoyable stay, but when a restaurant manager is absent, standards have unquestionably fallen in the restaurant. We booked the place in february and had mixed expectations. The resort was excellent. We are a group of families visiting with small children and were little concerned about safety. This property appears to have been remodeled a few times and has been kept up well. The food is excellent, and they were lodging for our food choices and kid-friendly. It is a very calm and relaxing stay. If you live in concrete jungles, don't miss stargazing at night, it's a good time to relax in a jungle that is natural.

Everything at the riverfront boathouse is poetic. The resort is not accessible from major roads. We had to park our car a distance along the river. And a pleasurable ponyboat ride from a pier to the floating motel. We were welcomed by a nice, hospitable receptionist, as you would in excellent hotels. Drinks are offered as a cold welcome. We were soon in our floating log cabin after a leisurely walk along the wooden walkways. It included items like a dressing table, a wardrobe, and a proper shower in a disjointed restroom room. There was an espresso machine, a mini fridge, and snacks. The air conditioning kept us cool from the hot summer sun. Two deckchairs were available directly outside the riverfront door. For dinner, we had tom yam soup since the chilly air was choking off the tastiest, most notably in the area. If you don't want to go on a lengthy, solitary trek across the jungle which is an adventure by itself, you can eat in the adjacent apartment. As the hours got older, the area wasn't as big. Located on the riverside, close to a beautiful setting, and surrounded by nature, a great feature. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. The pool facilities are a wonderful addition. The place is in a lovely location with a backdrop of the jungle. The pools are excellent, exceptionally spacious, and the rooms are cozy. However, the vibe throughout is really depressing. It is run by a large corporation and clearly set out to make as much money as possible. The personnel is welcoming but unmotivated, and the facility is poorly maintained. The gardens are void of ponds everywhere that could be lovely but are simply stagnant ponds of scum. The rooms are a little worn out with stained tiles and other imperfections. However, the inhouse rates do not account for all of this dilapidated and carelessness. The restaurant's expensive beer is then subject to an additional 17 service fee and tax, making it 60 more expensive than average hotel thai prices. Water is only served in tiny plastic bottles, which is unacceptable in these eco-times. We were attracted to come here because of the many activities offered, such as climbing trees, kayaking on the river kai, etc., but everything else is so pricey even by European standards that we couldn't justify doing them, especially considering we suspected they would be offered with the same lack of care as the hotel. Taxis outside the place are also absurdly expensive We received a taxi to the closest place and then found a local taxi that carried us around for a fraction of the price. However

If you are in Thailand, it is another location that you should not miss. Beautiful view, nature, and bird calls every morning to alert you in the morning. You always have a paradise view on your breakfast and dinner every morning. Candles provide you with the ideal time and atmosphere for relaxing. Thai girl. I traveled there with my ringing foreign boyfriend. I had a mission to surprise my partner's birthday at that time. You should know that neither the 711 nor the electric are available in this hotel. Everything is good. I don't have electricity. And there's no air conditioner. All the clients have to know and check this before. Especially in Thailand's hottest season. Love their service, rooms, and atmosphere. I think Thai food is very bad. Please make it more tasty. Covid 19. Nearly 99 Thai guests are in this situation. I highly suggest it to the hotel. I didn't stay in a river view onset villa in 2022. I was given room 07. I didn't forget what room number it was, maybe room 06. Pros big resort grounds with a wide variety of activities you could do, but the paid ones are a little on the expensive side. There is also a museum and gallery about the wwe times, a small waterfall, a mon village, a lake where you can paddle boat, and a swimming and boxspring pool. Panda cold drink is given on arrival. The onset water is so pleasant to sit in, it does have a cold and hot tap, but it takes a few minutes to get hot. After complaining about room 07's privacy issue, the manager arrived and assessed the issue and fixed the problem by putting a tarp across that section of bamboo fence. After that no one could enter your private onset space. Room is spacious and big. The bed is comfortable, the mattress is fairly firm, and the pillows are lovely. Tissue box and hairdryer are available. Plenty of hot water, pressure shower gel and shampoo are available in pump bottles. The bathroom is totally separate from the shower. The bathroom sink is large with plenty of space on either side. The room has a mini fridge. Aircorn is comfortable. The river view around the restaurant area is so nice, peaceful, and beautiful. Built in a forest, a big property that is far away. If you don't drive there, you're pretty much stuck in the hotel with all of their activities. Although the air quality is horrible in the high season, the river views are it's best selling point because they are tiny rundown. Even during the dry season, there are many mosquitoes, which is unusual. Poorly priced and unfavorable thai fare, and brunch consisted of the usual menu of poorly thought out breakfast. Although the river view villa was decent at the price of 4,00, the staff was competent, and the internet was pretty good, it was nothing special. The park is nice, and the building is outdated and shabby, and there is an interesting old train, which is a surprise. Nonetheless, day trips and elephant encounters are expensive these days, but if you're coming from outside Thailand, youll find it rewarding, and it does feel like a tropical rainforest. The sky walk, which was not, surprised me because the pool was fairly small, and the leisure pedal boats were old.
