The location is in a good area but the price that I get is not worth the quality of the place because I can't find it because the hotel is in the back side of the store, the cleanliness of the room and the water in the room is also very bad.

The rooms were clean and the bed was also great although not as hard as in a double room. The location is right in the middle of the old town pocket on Thai Road. The street is spectacular. There is a wonderful sunday market running the entire length of the street. We booked room 7 which is a spacious private double room on the ground floor, up a very steep step, but it's worth the effort to get to the balcony and the view below.

I stayed here with my daughter a year ago in a bunk room and this year in a double balcony room, and both times I had a great time. Its a strange location, in the back of and upstairs from a gift shop that you pass through, rooms are of decent quality and brandnew, very basic but cozy, with adequate air conditioning and beds. The location is exceptional, on walking street Thai Road and directly across from picturesque Soi romance, wonderful restaurants, and cute stores. The balcony room has the best views of the charming heritage street and Soi romance, so the balcony room has a beautiful view. Additionally, the cost is unbeatable in this area, 270 baht for the bunk room, 520 baht for the double balcony room. There is a pleasant and courteous staff downstairs, as well as a really friendly allnight staff member. There is no room coffee or breakfast, but there is a fridge kettle cup cups and spoons, so I just purchased a cheap pack of coffee ingredients from the shops to make my own. However, 59 baht for a pack of ten allison, and you want to sample the cafes downstairs. It seems completely unoccupied during low season, last year, I had the bunk room all to myself and it had an guarantee so I truly received value for the money. Overall, a pleasant stay. When we arrived, friendly employees welcomed us and presented us with our keys. After that, we completed what can only be described as four sets of vertical ladders in which one member of our seven members suffered a shin injury, but this felt like an allround good result given the steep and traumatic nature of the steps. After that, we entered three rooms with a total of one window between them. Welcome to the prison. We chosen our cellmates and proceeded to unpack our worldly possessions toothbrush, prison uniform, etc. From here, we chose to explore the restroom. The ventilation was basically a slit in the wall, although private. Big enough to remove some condensation, but not large enough for the outside world to hear your cries for help. At bed time, we sat on what I can only describe as the worlds toughest bed. If you were to lie on the sharp end of a shovel, it would have been more comfortable. The roll call was made at the dawn sharpest, not by a prison officer but by birds outside, who could be heard through the paper thin exterior wall. We could not grieve for the cost we paid despite all the shortcomings of this hostel.

Hotel staff were amazing. They let us check in 2 hours before check in time. The gentlemen was always giving us directions around town when we asked. He was very helpful. We did not like Old Town. There was nothing to do and we always struggled to find a place to eat. Almost everything is closed by 6-7 pm. There’s about 2 restaurants and coffee shops open after 7pm and the wait time to get dinner was over 1 hour. Hotel was great but overall with location and old town I would not return. I heard they have a night market on Sundays and that’s awesome so if u want to book, I recommend you book on a Sunday.

We stayed here for 3 nights but the room was only cleaned once during our stay so there isn't 'daily' housekeeping. Also there is no restaurant downstairs as it is now a souvenir shop so this means that there is no room service available like advertised. The staff were very friendly and answered all our questions about places to go. The beds are quite hard and firm but for me and my friends we actually found them quite comfortable, but this might be a deal breaker for others. The best part about this place is the location, it is literally on the street were night markets take place so when you exit the hostel after 6pm the street its bustling and there are craft and food stalls everywhere. The place is value for your money, the building is quite old and you will have to walk up steep, uneven stairs but for the price this is more than worth it. Don't hesitate to ask the staff any questions or requests because they'll do there best to help.

Maybe important detail is that the hotel is not a restaurant anymore but a tourist shop. However it is located in one of the nicest streets in phuket town, with plenty of really nice food places in the area. Room is clean, staff is willing to help. However, the beds are like stone (even for thailand) and there were no windows

Maybe the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on, mattress felt like concrete and the pillows were also mostly flat. I understand that the room was cheap and "you get what you pay for", but the bed should be at least sleep-able regardless of price. Also there was another hotel in the area for half the price of this one, so it's not like I picked the cheapest hotel in the area. One star off for that and another because the listing on Hotels.com inaccurately stated the room as 28 square meters, which is not even close to being true. The King Bed took up almost the entire width of the room and almost half the length, so really the room (including bathroom) is more like 3x5m = 15m2 if we're being generous, but most likely ~12m2. Accurate pictures of the room are included, so I could have been more careful, but I assumed that the first pictures of the overall property where the room I booked since that room actually looks large. All that said, the location is right in the heart of Old Phuket town and other amenities like the Wifi, check-in, TV, hot water, were all totally fine.
