We had a very nice room, and the hotel is right on one of the nicest beaches in Koh Lanta. The staff was very helpful in assisting us with transportation issues, which are a little tricky on the island.

Few meters from beach, nice resort with restaurant and affordable prices. Beach in front of resort was in February empty and clear. every night fire show in front of next door bar with life music. Highly recommend this place.

Umgebung und Bar waren der absolute Wahnsinn. Zimmer war okay, Dusche war leider recht schwach aber ausreichend, die WLAN Verbindung war leider eine Katastrophe, da sie ständig abgebrochen ist (was grundsätzlich ja kein Problem ist, wenn man nicht noch Flüge zu buchen hat ...) Aber alles in allem würden wir das Hotel definitiv wieder buchen :)

So I stayed here for two weeks and got to know the place well. Here is the good and the bad. The big comfy bungalow has nice air conditioning, a shower and a hanging space. Every day the room is cleaned. Very nice staff, everyone is very friendly and helpful and as a solo traveller this was great. The restaurant's food is really good, and they'll bring it to your room! Prices are the usual and the portions are big the bay is really stunning, best in Sansa. Cons I'm 52 and have a sore back. There isn't one cushion, comfortable seat, or longer, there aren't any. They have an umbrella in the middle of it all. I had to lie on my bed to be comfortable. On this beach, there is no shade, so there is nowhere to sit and read, be in the shade, or relax. Only hard seats in the restaurant. I really don't understand this. I see many people ride scooters for the day, look around and then leave in minutes. Moving up to khong, where there are hammocks, soft cushions, sun loungers, and khong everywhere. And it's the same in the why not bar, no chairs, soft cushions and rolls, only a hard floor with thin hard cushions. Crazy. The place was beautiful and the staff lovely, but if they don

We got Air-Conditioning in our last-minute booking. From where we stayed further up the island. We were initially a little uncertain what to anticipate from the other reviews, but were pleasantly surprised. The reception staff was friendly, and although they hadn't yet received our reservation details, it was quickly resolved, and we were assigned a nice room with a sea view. The room was extremely comfortable and had great value for money given its prime location on a lovely desirable bay. Even though the sun sets, the on-site bar is ideal for a quick beer.

The Wanting Bay View resort is sandwiched between a highly expensive resort and the hotel next door. With the why not bar on site it's a place where one stays on the same meticulously maintained beach of the higher resort and neighboring hotel for a reasonable price. No swimming pool, just on the shore. There are no lounges or umbrellas that can make it very hot. The landscape could be better, but it didn't bother me too much. The beach view is stunning, why nitpick a useless detail like a garden? We came. When we checked in, the front desk area appears to be used for a variety of purposes, a group of women was rolling spring rolls at a table while talking. It was homey. After visiting the area to see the room in person, we made reservations on application. After 3 days here, it just begins. No clean towels except for the two we received when we arrived, and I had to ask for a refill of toilet paper. We spent 165 dollars for 3 nights. It's neither super expensive nor particularly inexpensive. The least you should do would be to have clean towels or refill toilet paper. The why not bar on site is a truly fantastic location. The location is also close to the Why Not Bar and the beach. Also, they have a huge fire performance every night. Also, they have live music and great drinks at night. Plus, they have beachfront bungalow. They provided a bathroom.

I spent 4 nights in a partial sea view room. It's clean and the personnel are friendly. The view of the bay from the Why not Bar is amazing. Will stay again! I want to congratulate the front desk manager. Very helpful.

I went during low season so had the entire place to myself. Steps from the beach. One night a group of about 20 young Muslim Thais filled the villas around me for a one-night party, so it was a little raucous, but they didn't go too late and were very respectful and were gone the next day. Was able to rent a gas scooter for ¥200/day and could explore the entire island. The staff were very good and the restaurant had a pretty good menu. It was next to the most happening bar on the entire bay. I would go back.

All in all a good experience. Nice calm beach at the southern end of Koh Lanta. The hotel has en exilent restaurant and the bar (Why not bar) connected to is is wonderful.

This is the third or fourth time we have stayed here. We really like it. I would give it 5 stars except for the construction going on and the garden disappearing. The garden view rooms (most expensive) no longer have a view of the beach or the garden. But the rooms are nice and clean. The staff is friendly. It is right on the beach. And it is a great location from which to go diving.
