Although I have visited hill tribe regions in Chiang Mai, the hotel and Lao Village Tour were far superior. To arrange a tour package, I advise you to contact the hotel as it is well worth the additional expenditure. We were given a tour of the Lao family, the village we were about to visit, and the hotel proprietor spoke to us about the place and its history. Using a winding route, passing orange orchards, we were taken to the village at the end of the road near the mango border. As we continued on, it got less developed and more wild. In the village, we assisted with the preparation of a meal at a village home, picked, dried and rolled tea leaves, and watched a basket weaving demonstration at another house. Up in the mountains, it was a lovely, tranquil community. On the way back, a stop at a refreshing waterfall was made. If planned, the hotel offers two lovely set dinners that were fantastic. They also planned a thai cooking class for us at the hotel. My family of four was in the hotel's accommodation, so I was glad to be split up. The hotel doesn't appear impressive on the outside, but it more than makes up for the hostess, village tour, food, and hospitality.

The meals here were so delicious. The employees were so kind and kind. Then, we spent a pleasant day with a tribal family in the mountains cooking a meal and picking and processing tea. The apricot spirit that they made were so tasty and a nice local area that has a few temples. Then, there's a cozy bar one block down and an interesting coffee shop in the opposite direction. After that, we have a weekly market in the area. Subsequently, the food service at the hotel was also very good.

In chiang mai province, Im currently on a road trip specifically looking for minority communities along the border with Dari. After discovering this property online, I decided to stay here to learn more about the homestay they run in the red lau village of doi pu men. Unfortunately, due to covid 19, the homestay is not functioning anymore. In the hamlet's entire portion, I did take a drive into the mountains, and I'm happy to return because I believe this will be a wonderful opportunity to experience a genuine traditional lau village. Only the hotel has the reviews, and the personnel is really welcoming and kind. Under normal circumstances, the girl who runs the show is very helpful and can plan tours, transportation, and the aforementioned homestay. Although the hotel itself has some lauinspired decorations and charm, it is actually a typical, somewhat outdated thaistyle budget hotel. An experienced traveler should know what to anticipate since a standard room with breakfast costs 500 thb, so seasoned travelers should know what to anticipate. On the tripadvisor scale, I usually give this kind of lodging three out of five, but I increased it by one due to the staff. I will likely visit Fang again if the homestay is back and write a review of that as well.

Our 14-day trip to Thailand's Humane Home Hotel was enhanced by our two nights there. We were shown around the fang temples and offered a menu of home-style dishes at supper. The village's history of the families lau was explained to us during our introduction to the village's heritage, followed by a tour of basket weaving and the village's lunch making. When we arrived back at the hotel, we chose tea for salad. On our way home, we also took advantage of the hot springs and the waterfall. We were served a wonderful evening supper again in the evening. Although it is frequented by tourists, the village is largely unspoiled because of its reliance on the production of tea and coffee. Everyone we know will likely use the lodging because it was incredible and intriguing overall.

Nice hotel with a tribal feeling, run by a family with roots in the mountains. Even a small Lahu exhibition on first floor. Restaurant suprised us with excellent Thai food! The American breakfast was as boring as expected. Bathroom could have been better, it had a sour smell and toilet had a mind of its own. Thin walls. But, definitely value for money. Don't miss Fang Hot Baths 15 min from the hotel, by motorcycle taxi.

The Property is in sore need of maintenance. Mouldy Grouting in the Bathroom, very frayed, old Towels. These are easy items to remedy.
