Great value for money. Resort has a great pool and the rooms are big. I liked bathroom as shower had good water pressure. Very quiet and relaxing. The staff were so friendly and good, really helpful. They have tuk tuk to take you to the beach and can also hire motorbike. Breakfast good also. Had pancakes. yum.

To begin with, I'd like to say that as the majority of people, the prospect of staying in a bad hotel makes me feel dreadful and can easily ruin a well-earned vacation. I also enjoy cost-benefit analysis. The Phutawan resort hotel offers unquestionably exceptional value for money. Yes, there are a few minor problems, but these are not worthy of discussion in this section. I'll say this. This hotel is in a great position just 500 meters from ao hang's main nightlife, and it's close enough to walk or you can use well-kept and inexpensive hotel scooters. That means it's lovely and peaceful at night. It has a safe vibe because it is constructed in an enclosed culdesac with one entrance. That said, this region of Thailand is moderate and secure anyway. Safer than the UK or any other member of the eurozone. I took my 18-year-old daughter on Christmas Day, and neither I ever felt harmed. The hotel staff is outstanding, they are real, and they have a five-star mindset. On Christmas day, a group of us guests, who were traveling a few days ago, enjoyed a buffet with several new delights. All in all, cheap, spotless, and honest. Its as good as it gets for price. Overall, you can stay here comfortably for a few days, but I wouldn't suggest it for a prolonged stay. I just spent ten days here. That was 8 days too long. You are somewhat isolated and must use transportation everywhere because the hotel is a short distance from zoning beaches, and despite the fact that it is inexpensive, it is difficult if you just want to find dinner or something quickly. The motel itself is older, but adequate. My room didn't function, and staff did not offer me a new room or care too much after they discovered it wasn't working. Aside from the darkened room with no windows, the room otherwise was alright. My room's air conditioning functioned, but it appeared to be a hurricane. They do have a lovely pool, the spa is not functional, and it's very quiet, so you can have it to yourself a lot. The internet is free but not very strong. Breakfast is offered at the hotel at around 150 baht. However, don't eat here because it is very basic and the excellent contemporary restaurant a few doors down with clean food, which was always my go-to place, is not recommended. This place is really safe for a long stay and I highly recommend this place to everyone. It is very quiet. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. No traffic at all. There is a place to be seen a few times and the cleanliness was good too.

I highly suggest you stay here, you won't be disappointed. This resort is wonderful, such a relaxing stay with the best host and staff, I can only praise them for everything they helped us with. We booked a night before our arrival for 13 days over Christmas and New Year, and it was the best 13 days!

The Phutawan Resort in Ao Hang is a small but cozy resort with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The pool is great for swimming in the hot sun in the summer and relaxing to sit in the sun for snoozing or in the shade under the palm trees. The rooms are very comfortable, large and functional with a big bathroom and shower. I found the bed to be excellent and firm and had a great night's sleep. I also appreciate the large shower area which had good water pressure not often the case in Thailand. The resort also has a beautiful garden and each room has an outside balcony area with a table and chairs for eating or reading. The resort also served a delicious breakfast, my favorite being the banana pancake. The staff are also great. Olivia is the owner and was very friendly and helpful. You can also hire scooters from Olivia which were great for transportation. By the way, the resort is located next to the local market and also a macro supermarket with a service station just up the road. So everything is very convenient. The beach is about 510 minutes away by scooter. For value for money, this resort cannot beat this resort. Very cheap for what you get and I recommend if you value a nice quiet and clean resort.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. It is a good location outside of the craziness of Ao Nang beach. Nice swimming pool and lovely Wood interiors in the room. I would stay here again.

Nette kamers, ruim ingedeeld. Badkamer was niet erg netjes meer. Veel schimmel in de kitnaden en voegen. Aardige medewerkers en ongeveer 5 minuten van het centrum met taxi. Centrum erg toeristisch wel erg mooie stranden.

Très joli hotel, avec accueil et service agréable. Les chambres (toutes avec grande terrasse) sont très spacieuses et décorées avec goût, mais pas de fenêtre. L'hôtel est a 3/4km des plages, ils faut donc prendre une navette (jusque 18h, 20bts/aller/pers). Il y a 1 ou 2 resto a côté, une supérette, et un marché local 3j/ semaine et....c'est a peu près tout!

Rigtig fint hotel. Poolområdet var super, da vi havde det stort set for os selv. Værelserne er lidt lydte og mørke, men fin størrelse. Morgenmaden var ikke super spændende, men til prisen var det alt i alt super fint, dog ligger det lidt udenfor ao nang så en motorbike er nødvendig. Kan lejes ved hotellet for 200 bath.

Nice, small hotel. The picture online is not The same in real life. Only 3sunbeds, and very bad ones. The Staff is not serviceminded at all. You dont really get what you pay for. The breakfast not good, If you dont like eggs.
