great location, right the beach, with very nice views. The hotel is funky (the rooms are old ship containers for example), but confortable, clean and extremely friendly. The restaurant within the hotel serves good Thai food at ridiculously low prices, and the tables are directly on the beach (your feet in the sand, under the trees). I stayed there quite a few times, and thought it was quite a good deal.

Nous avons passé une seule nuit, mais cet endroit est super sympa!!! tout est fait à partir de récupération, des fauteuils en ancien fut ou pneu... les chambres en container... et tout cela les pieds dans l'eau ! le port est à 5 minutes en tuk tuk

Fantastic first two nights in koh samui..after travelling around Thailand for our honeymoon this was the first place to up grade our room for free to a sea view, which when you wake up in the morning is amazing! Breakfast was great on the beach and the menu and cocktails were perfect! The only bad thing was that we only booked 2ngts could of stayed longer the beach and sea was so clean and it was a quiet and tranquil side of samui which was still unspoilt from tourist....definately a good find.

老板人非常的好，只是这个地方离市区太远太远了，之前我们没有找到路，去超市走了很久很久都没有找到，结果去超市的路在另一条路上，这家有自己的海滩，很方便，我们虽然不是住的海景房，但是从房间到海滩不到1分钟的路程，超级方便，而且这家也有自己的吃的，咖啡，小吃，而且环境很好很好，这是我在苏梅岛住得最舒服最满意的一家酒店，下次有机会还会来的，对了，这个地方离苏梅机场打车需要一个小时哟！

You might think what on earth was I up for as you approach the main building with spiderman overlooking the parking lot, but when you meet the friendly staff and enjoy the beautiful ocean views when you check in, you realize that your stay won't be anything but life-changing. The property is in Lip Noi on a peaceful part of the island. National Pier is only a short drive away, but there isn't much to see within walking distance. On the opposite side of the bay, there is a family mart and a lovely deserted beach at Lip Noi beach on the other side of the bay. Although basic, the rooms are large and in a lush garden at the back of the property. The lovely beach restaurant and delicious food made up for this if you like camping or outdoors. As we discovered a few cobwebs in the folds of the drapes, I would recommend the hotel to do a thorough clean occasionally. But overall, we enjoyed our time there.

I had a wonderful time during my almost two-week stay at the think and retro cafe in Lips Noi. This was our first visit since the beginning of 2017. Beyond the novelty factor, the recycle and reuse concept behind think is quite inventive. The shipping container bungalows, along with other repurposed materials, are well-designed and kept immaculate by the employees. The sleepingliving area has air conditioning, and the bathrooms are separated by sealed glass doors. The caferestaurant, located on the beach side of the compound, uses other containers and repurposed materials. Think has successfully created a variety of individual areas for socializing, eating, and having a drink while maintaining everything open and connected. American eggs, toast, etc., are served to guests thrice out of a variety of protein and a fruit plate breakfast set. We generally had a great Asian set, but the westernstyle breakfast was adequate and delicious. The restaurant offers both Asian and Western cuisine. Clearly, seafood dominates the meal. On Fridays and Sundays, Boi provides live music. Alongside the tom yum seafood pizza, we didn't try any of the western items but the tom yum shrimp pizza was excellent. The curries and the short sandy shoreline were also outstanding. We also visited in 2017 and strongly suggest it, particularly because of the beautiful sunsets that fell in. Lips noi is on

This will not be the place for you if you want to party, entertain, get the latest furniture, fashion, etc. Regardless, you can expect tasty food and cocktails in a relaxed retro atmosphere. For us, one of the best places on the island.

Definitely a place to be in Ok Samui. We stayed two weeks in lipanoi kohsamui in one of the five island villas, but at our late arrival, we arrived at the think and retro cafe restaurant. However, even though it was late for the restaurant staff, we were very welcomed by them. Then, we often returned for lunch and dinner. There are several tasty Thai dishes on the menu. Very well cooked. And of course, the kindness of the entire staff, who is always smiling and giving excellent service. One of the finest experiences we have had while staying in Thailand. Again, thank you to all the employees.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, it has a fantastic position on the beach. We liked the room, it has thoughtful details. The staff is attentive and friendly. The food was decent, but I only had the fried options. I also was able to hire a moped for 300 Baht for 24 hours. Overall, great atmosphere with families and a variety of other travellers. I would recommend it.

Wir waren für eine Nacht dort. Bei Ankunft gab es ein Willkommensdrink und wir konnten das Zimmer beziehen. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren geräumig und sauber. Die Lage direkt am Strand und die Einrichtung des Restaurants sorgten für eine coole Atmosphäre. Obwohl man unser Zimmer mit einem Vorhängeschloss abschließen konnte, komnte man an einer anderen Stelle die Schiebetür weiterhin ohne Schlüssel öffnen da der Verschluss an der Stelle kaputt war. Es gab zwar einen Safe, der war aber nicht befestigt und damit nutzlos. Da wir nur für eine Nacht da waren hat uns das aber nicht weiter gestört.

So glad I moved this this spot after being in Mae Nam. Peaceful, beautiful beach that's not overrun with people. Even the streets leading to Lipa Noi are quiet and not overdeveloped. You can see the beach and tropical plants right from your room, wake up and relax at the cafe. Truly a perfect place for relaxation. Live music (but not raucous) on some nights and a gorgeous sunset as it faces the west. It is eco-certified in a sense of the utilities and the reuse of shipping containers for building materials. Love the vibe. Cute cats wander through if you like cats, but everything's open and airy (so you dont have to like cats haha). Note- the water of Samui is not that clear, and this area was the same -- not the fault of the hotel, I just wouldnt recommend Samui for the water/swimming in Gulf. This place is a breath of fresh air compared to the cookie cutter north and east of Samui. The only thing I ask is the hotel not carry advertisements for the tiger and elephant attractions on Samui-- besides cruel, they are often associated with wildlife crime. It would complete the mission of the hotel to not recommend those kinds of tourist activities. For the most part they advertise kayaking and snorkeling- much better! And you can kayak from this beach. There are also fishing boats (long boats) here- which are not common to see on other beaches on Samui.

Das Hotel liegt gleich am Strand, unserer Container hatte sogar direkten Meerblick. Wenig Zimmer, dadurch eine sehr heimelige Atmosphäre. Die Atmosphäre ist toll, alles besteht aus recycelten Materialen was uns sehr gefiel. Es war alles sauber und für thailändische Standards in gutem Zustand. Die Zimmer gehören zu einem Restaurant, wo es auch jeden Tag Frühstück am Strand gab. Das inkludierte Frühstück ist entweder amerikanisch (Toast+Würstchen/Speck) oder Thailändisch (Reiscongee und Früchte), könnte allerdings mehr Optionen enthalten, nach ein paar Tagen wurde es langweilig. Allgemein würde ich empfehlen, fürs Essen ein bisschen die Straße entlangzugehen, dort ist es günstiger und besser. Die Zimmer an sich waren aber toll und sehr empfehlenswert.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr, sehr ruhig direkt am Strand gelegen. Außer ein paar andere Resort gibt es in näherer Umgebung nichts weiter. Das Zimmer war angenehm groß, wobei der wasserdruck zum duschen kaum vorhanden war.

部屋に入り手を洗おうとすると水が出なかったのですぐにオーナーに伝え、しばらくしてから水が出るようになりました。部屋はコンテナで出来ており防音性はなく、室内に冷蔵庫はありません。シャワーの水圧が著しく弱くチョロチョロしか出ない為シャンプーの泡を流すのに苦労しました。レストランは素晴らしいロケーションでスタッフもフレンドリーで良かったです。プールがないので近隣の施設と比べると見劣りしますが、道向かいにファミリーマートがあり便利でした。歩けない距離（車で5分）ではないリパノイピアまでの送迎は300Bでした。

The concept is nice, containers turned into rooms. Rooms are spacious, good bed, good AC, good wifi. Horrible, outdated bathrooms which feel like it's outside because of the gaps between walls and ceiling. Insects and especially mosquitoes are everywhere in bathroom. Lock on room does not feel very safe. Location is near pier, but for other restaurants or activities it's a bad location. Quite a walk to other places and there are no lights along the road so dangerous to walk anywhere in dark. It kinda forces you to eat at the Think & Retro restaurant. Prices in restaurant are too high. Overall very overpriced. Payment with credit card went wrong. Machine kept saying it couldn't charge so I ended up booking and paying online with Expedia. Later that night I saw on my bank App that I ended up paying 5 times! Had to call my bank from Thailand to rectify this, not something you want to worry about while on holiday..

Frühstück schwach, grade mal ein Tee gratis (in Bangkok in € 27.- Doppelzimmer Tee, Kaffee, Wasser unbegrenzt gratis verfügbar). Es gibt 2 Bungalows am Strand, unbedingt einen dieser beiden buchen, die anderen 6 liegen nicht attraktiv zwischen Straße und Parkplatz. Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht.
