Everest is still a family run business, his mother is a fantastic chef, try the tenement, they have a spicy version this year! When we first visited Everest last year, we noticed how many people regularly return. We have become one of the most favored couples. It is often a mistake to go back to a location because it never has the same experience, but it hasn't lost any of the attraction, rather, it just reinforces the fact that this is the only place we will remain in that region. German is one of the most helpful people we have ever met. We began our holiday this year with a few days in Istanbul before heading off to ovacik for a rest! His excellent knowledge of Turkish history allowed us to book our holiday for next year with a few days in Urua then off again to Everest for 17 days the following year! There is no stress going on here, you can instantly relax, and once you step foot in your room, there is no stress going on. On the first night we were there this year, I actually slept for 13 hours and had well each night. His English proficiency is probably the best Ive seen anywhere in Turkey, so he can address any questions you may have. Everest remains a family run business, and his mother is still an excellent cook. Try the tenement, there is even a spicy

Everest is a small family-run hotel that is clean and comfortable, conveniently located near all the shops and nightlife and close to some decent restaurants. Our self-catering room was fantastic with a kitchenette with a two-ring hob, fridge, and kettle, a bedroom with a hairdryer, and a balcony in front and back. German is fantastic, charming, cordial, and really useful. Mum is a fantastic cook with a wide variety of options including Turkish or English breakfasts, flats, sandwiches, curry, salads, etc. Dad is more in the background and maintains the gardens beautiful. The pool and bar areas are tidy and have lots of room. People come back year after year and this makes Everest such a happy place, hands down the greatest place I've ever stayed and somewhere I could stay alone, with a friend, or in a group. I'm looking forward to coming back.

Since 2014, weve been traveling through this part of Turkey as a family group and have a tendency to choose a home. We chose an apartment because we didn't have to schedule this holiday sooner this year for only my husband and me. What a wonderful, relaxing moment we had! The houses weve stayed in were of a very high caliber, and I did think the apartments appeared a touch basic compared to the villas, so I was divided on whether or not to book, but what a misstep it would have been not to. I actually booked because I was driven by the fact that people return year after year and were going to be joining the returnees as weve already rebooted for next September. I would not go anywhere else right now. It has everything you need, great hosts, a lovely location and gardens, a homey vibe, and a clean atmosphere. It is a familyrun business, so you feel like you're in a family room. German speaks excellent English and is ready to assist you with anything you need, his dad is about to make breakfast, and his mother cooks, and she makes a great cook! There are more sofas at the end of the covered dining area by the pool, which is situated nearby the main dolls route and also a short stroll into hisoranu, but it's far enough away

This is our third consecutive visit to Everest. We thought carefully about my particular medical condition before traveling, but as we are familiar with Everest, we simply stocked ourselves with a bit of pie and fled. Easy jet was very strict, which was wonderful because the flight was my primary concern, but I couldn't disagree with their application of the rules and the reminders when necessary. Because Everest is a family-run company, no staff were constantly present and going, only the housekeeper who was tidying your room wore a face covering. Each time a family member served food, the dining area had been changed so as to allow social distancing. The relaxed atmosphere that we love about Everest wasn't drastically diminished by living in the 1960s, and it was exactly what we required after a difficult year. After the last swim at home in march, it was wonderful to swim every day. The pool has been returned since last year, and it is beautiful. We anticipate returning the following year. We're happy to answer any inquiries. Just email us. Nicky and richard f.

I stayed at the Everest Hotel for a week. Amazing weather and the great owner and his family. If you want a clean and comfortable base for the area? Look no further. I found my happy place and will return. Thank you German for everything. Debbie.
