I arrived here around 11 a. M. And it was raining. There was no one at the reception and the door was locked so i called the owner. He couldnt speak english even didnt understand 'door locked and 'raining. I know i have to speak turkish if i travel to turkish. Its courtesy to the locals and arrogant to think that everyone can speak english. But at least you run the hotel. Especially many foreigners visit your place, you may know a little english like doors or rain. I stood in the damn rains at 11 a. M. I didnt even want to check in, i just wanted to stay inside. But the owner just repeated not checking in time, so i had to stay there with my 12 kg bagpack in the rain. Hotel owner must be at reception for every situation. Except for this, the room was very clean and the staff was very nice to me. My room bathroom was the cleanest i have seen in my 40 days of turkish trip. The kitchen was well organized. And there is an elevator so you can move easily. Thank you for this good service. The bed in my picture may seem messy, but i just slept there so it didnt bother me.

I was a bit stuck when I arrived at Trabzon bus terminus without a hotel booking. So I was pleased to find Nuralp at half the price of the hotels around the terminus, and walkable from the terminus, if a little steep up the hill! It's organized as two rooms to an "apartment" sharing a bathroom and basic kitchen. Nice views over the sea from the front room. And though the back room is a closed view, it benefits from a balcony. The owners were pleasant and friendly. But making the stay really special was the daughter Ayse, who speaks excellent English, and gave me detailed information how to catch a dolmus into the city center, recommendations, and solved all problems. It's possible to walk to a large modern mall down the hill. Or take a dolmus into the old center. Some shops and restaurants nearby too. Overall made a very pleasant few days stay in Trabzon. Note, like a lot of hotels in Turkey, it is close to a very loud Mosque! That can result in some shock early morning wakeups, until you get used to it.

Harganya sangat terjangkau. Sejak pertama kali datang ke Trabzon, jalanan terjal membuat kami sangat kesulitan. Kami mengalami kecelakaan kecil saat mencoba mencari apartemen. Saya datang jam 2 pagi. Saya tidak pergi saat itu hanya untuk menghindari kerepotan, jika tidak, tempat ini tidak akan pernah menjadi tempat tinggal saya. Tidak ada tirai di kamar, sabun dan handuk datang terlebih dahulu. Tempat tidurnya sudah usang. Terlepas dari semua kekurangan ini, kami mengatakan ayo berangkat terlambat setengah jam, tetapi mereka tidak menerimanya. Satu-satunya kelebihan adalah harganya yang terjangkau. The staff is very friendly and helpful. English communication is not a problem. Its not directly in the city, so its quiet at night. Comfortable and clean rooms. I can recommend the hotel. They have some problems with their wifi at the moment but the staff always gave me a hotspot.
