Friendly staff, cozy roof top restaurant with amazing views of Wanale Hill, always clean rooms and perfectly situated on a quiet street near the city center. At Casa they always offer that extra help to make your stay in the wonderful city of Mbale worthwhile. Thank you so much for having us.

The artwork in some of the rooms was a joy of fresh air. The team is enthusiastic about their job and will make their customers feel at home. The employees are pleased to see the customer at their door. The restaurant's cuisine was exquisite. There are many delicious soups and chapatis served and the breakfast choices provided were adequate with the $149 accommodation price. I stayed at the lodge for a view that is difficult when one provides lousy service, and the services at this location did not let me down. Despite the difficulties encountered by the hotel sector during the Couid 19 era, the lodge has undergone some room upgrades including fan service, painting, better mattresses, a spotless roof top restaurant bar, and excellent service. It is significantly better than my disastrous stay in 2019 that was at the facility.

We stayed here for a few nights my wife and I, wife and son. The staff is very kind and friendly, the food is delicious, the location is also in a good position and prices are reasonable. The owner of the business is an awesome host who tries to assist us with everything we need.

For me, my time at Casa del Tourists for 6 weeks during the height of covid 19 arrival and panic in Uganda, Sales, his family, and staff were very helpful and professional. You are quite welcome and safe, Tom.

The service is so good, even though the cleaning is so bad, and the shower in the bathroom was so nice, with a very good cleanliness, plus the very nice coffee that they served, and also the breakfast is so good, plus the friendly and courteous employees.

I will definitely stay there again if I return to Male. The rooms are private and lovely. Every shower has a fan and hot water. The rooftop is amazing. Good food and great people working there. Totally worth the money to have a delicious breakfast every day.

Clean, modest accommodation with very friendly staff and a good American-style restaurant with good coffee on the roof. Wifi was reliable. Each of the 2 times I stayed there, they were surprised to see me (in spite of a pre-paid reservation), and put me in the 'last room' with an offer to switch on the second day. During my second stay the room was downstairs next to the kitchen, dark and hot. When I complained, they 'found' a better room on the main floor.

This place is really the place to stay for travelers on a budget. It has a great roof top bar restaurant that is frequented by travelers and local alike, which makes it fun and unique. The hotel definitely needs some maintenance. The toilet in the first room I got didn't have a tank top so it had been covered with aluminum foil!
