I would recommend this place. The location is very strategic, the bed is comfortable, the room has a fridge and a clean bathroom, and check-in is easy. The place has a few shops nearby and several places on the same street where you can buy coffee and snacks. The towels in our room were clean and in fairly good condition. The soundproofing is not a problem as some reviewers say.

I suggest learning how to smile and care about guest in one of the reception staff. We had 7 friends who stayed for 3 nights. Everything about the hotel is the same standard. But the one middle-aged employee just doesn't care.

The hotel is in a good neighborhood, near to the major city attractions, and in an excellent location. The hotel is very simple, with a fridge, a microwave, and the most vitally functioning air conditioner it was incredibly hot in the city. Nonetheless, the bathroom sink smelled foul, and the provided towels were the worst I've ever seen because they were extremely old and coming apart. We considered purchasing a pair of towels for ourselves, but we chose not because most supermarkets were closed. The room was also not particularly clean, and the wifi kept crashing. The hotel has quite little else to offer. overall, a terrible experience.

I and my boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights so we could see Chernobyl and have a city break in Kiev as well. The hotel is so clean. great hot shower. Kitchen, microwave, and kettle all in working order. enough glassware plates, silverware, and dishes for the 2 of us. The mattress was comfortable although the bed was a little low. And the walls are quite thin but we both had 4 nights of very good uninterrupted sleep. If we went back to Kiev, we would book the Fire Inn again. Very good location, close to the center. Just 30 minutes from the hotel, there are a few tiny kiosks selling food, groceries, tobacco, alcohol, and bakery goods. The staff spoke decent English and were friendly enough.

In January, I stayed here with my girl friend and had a great time. The location is excellent. All locations are within walking distance. The room is nice and the price is also reasonable. But changing the bed is not a priority. I appreciate that.
