Aldhafra Resort, Vignette Collection by IHG, is a 5-star desert resort situated in Madinat Zayed, on the edge of the Rub Al Khali (The Empty Quarter) amidst rolling sand dunes in the Al Gharbia region. The resort, partially renovated in 2025, blends Arabian elegance with modern comfort and a traditional style.
The resort features 105 air-conditioned rooms and suites, including Deluxe Rooms (Resort View, Desert View, Pool Access), King Bed Suites, 1-Bedroom Suites (96 m²), and 2-Bedroom Suites (152 m²). Each accommodation is equipped with a desk, kettle, minibar (some complimentary), safe, flat-screen TV, and complimentary wired and wireless internet access. Bathrooms feature shower/tub combinations, bidets, complimentary toiletries, and in select rooms, hair dryers and bathrobes. Certain rooms offer a balcony or terrace, and some include a kitchenette with a microwave.
