It was a cozy boutique hotel in the heart of old dubai famous active street next to the gold market. The streets are lively, with lots of small shops, restaurants, and cafes around the hotel. There is also a lovely park next to the hotel. I loved the african and asia cuisine served at the buffett it was delicious and fresh, the hotel is new so the service is great!.

I appreciate the wonderful service. You must try their breakfast buffet. It was excellent and reasonably priced. Fantastic, welcoming staff that welcomes customers with open arms. This hotel had everything you could possibly need.

We stayed in the hotel 3 times when in Dubai. It’s away from the glamorous and more expensive parts of the city and feels authentic. Deira is where more locals & working class people live, I observed. That being said, the food around the hotel is good and much less expensive than other areas of Dubai. Expect to see a lot of different cultures and people from around the world in the neighborhood. The restaurant serves authentic cuisine from The Democratic Republic of Congo and some other world cuisines. Everything that you could need to buy is within walking distance and although it is hot in Dubai even in the winter, the air conditioning worked well and the hot water was always really hot. If you are traveling to Dubai and are on a budget, I recommend Deira and of the three hotels we stayed in inside Dubai, this was the one we came back to. The main reason that we came back to City Stay is the service. Mr. Abdullah Ammar and Mr. Jafar in particular were very consistent and conscientious in their checking on us during our visit and helped to ensure that we had whatever we needed. Although our situation in Dubai was precarious (we were trying to bring my husband from Iran to the USA under emergency conditions) and we never were able to predict whether we would be leaving or staying, the front desk team was also very accommodating and patient with us. This hotel has good people & heart. As a hotel manager myself, I know that is priceless. Also the rooms are as photographed!

I will tell my friends about this hotel and will book it again and again. Lovely hotel to be. Their rooms, corridors, and reception are always neat and have a nice atmosphere. I fell in love with the air freshener in the hotel. The staff is friendly and polite. The apartment has everything you need for cooking they are practically new.

The rooms are large and cleaned daily. The fully furnished kitchenette can help save money or stick to a diet by cooking your own food. Vivek at the front desk and amal were great help. I arrived at the hotel for checkin, but they accommodated me, made me comfortable in the reception area and checked me in as soon as possible. Decent price for the area. This area is awake until midnight and there are many indian, bangladesh, pakistan and african restaurants around. Cons there are few english channels on tv. One or two roaches were roaming around the bathroom at night. The bathtub was missing the plug.

This place is suitable for a short stay. The basic amenities are complete, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The interior of the place is outdated, but the cleanliness is maintained.

I cannot recommend it highly enough! The restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced, the room was tidy, the service was excellent, and the pool was immaculate. The neighborhood is not particularly pleasant.

The room service was excellent, with the two guys serving as room servants, abdullah, and the other name, i forget, being quite cooperative. The rooms were quite nice and tidy. The best experience ive ever had at a premium hotel in the city.

Hotel yang bersih dan staf yang sangat membantu. Semuanya sangat ramah. Kebersihannya juga bagus. Namun karena bangunannya sudah tua, terkadang serangga bisa masuk dari kusen pintu.
