Beautiful clean, tidy and spacious room for 3 adults. Lovely toiletries available. Complimentary tea, coffee and chocolates in abundance. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant.

The bed was superb - probably the best night's sleep we've had in a hotel. It's in a great location for shopping, tourism and good eateries. Only slight negative was, we weren't told about needing £100 refundable deposit (which some people may not have to hand) and expected to produce photo ID, so keep those in mind if you decide to visit. We will be staying again!

La habitación estaba muy bonita, grande, completa. Tiene amenidades variadas. Agua mineral, hay galletitas deliciosas. Y lo reponen todo. Estaría maravilloso si el agua de la regadera la verifican para que esté caliente. Muy bonito y hay mucho donde desayunar. No tiene elevador.

Veldig fornøyd med oppholdet. Veldig sentralt i forhold til tram-toget fra flyplassen. Hyggelig og hjelpsomme ansatte. Vi bodde på 407, og det var rolig og fint. Rommet vårt var stort og det var supert med vannkoker og kaffe der. Kan absolutt anbefale dette hotellet til andre som skal til Edinburgh. Vi kommer gjerne igjen 😀

My first solo trip in Edinburgh and this was in a smashing location. Walkable from the train station and tucked away so quiet at night! The staff were incredible helpful and welcoming and were ready to help with any query I had. Deffo coming back!

Walking distance to old town and new town. Friendly and helpful staff. Near a wonderful pub and fun, unique shops. We had a beautiful time. Edinburgh is unforgettable and the Albany gave us a clean, safe and convenient place to stay.

The walk to the hotel is 15min from Waverly Train Station. On arrival it was a quick registration. My room was spacious, and I appreciate the extra refreshments. The housekeeping was excellent, and made sure I had enough towels and toiletries. I travelled light, so you might want to take a taxi if you have suitcases. It's very close to some of the attractions, malls and stores. Lots of name brand stores if interested. Overall, my stay and experience was excellent

The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. The staff is extremely helpful. The gentleman ( wish i had gotten his name)manning the reception desk when i checked in was so nice and took my suitcases to the room. Top floor in a walk up! Above and beyond! There are so many places to shop and eat within walking distance.

This place is awesome. It has spacious rooms, mega comfy beds & bedding. A hot pot with coffee, tea and cookies. Light w windows. Just a block off from coffee, restaurants etc so allows for a quiet stay. Easy check in. Free, fruit, granola bars and chocolates available.

Unassuming from the outside, but beautifully kept on the inside. Our room was spacious with high ceilings and immaculate. The bathroom was really nice and spacious as well. The path to our room was a bit circuitous because I believe that the hotel was created by joining several old buildings, but I thought that gave the hotel a charming character. We enjoyed the coffee and simple breakfast (fruit, granola bars) in the reception area in the mornings. It was convenient to tons of restaurants and shopping as well as several bus lines to get us throughout the city. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic accommodation just near the main centre of Edinburgh (OmniCentre, Playhouse, St James Shopping Centre). Plenty of amenities within 5 mins walk amd nice location. Reception staff very friendly and Georgian design hotel was impressive... a bit like the Tardis (bigger on the inside). Room was spacious and had everyone you needed for a stay.
