Any time we visit Glasgow, we always stay here because the price is very good, the rooms are large, the breakfast is very good and the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is central and a short walk to Ovo Hydro. The only negative weve ever had was today, when we checked out the blonde lady at reception was on her phone. I stood and stood without acknowledgment and in the end, I just left my room card and left.

Overall, if I were to visit Glasgow again, I might return. I made my reservation here because I was going to an engagement party at a hotel and didn't want to pay their fees. I read some reviews and was a little sceptical, but I shouldn't have worried, yes, when you first walk in it's not the most welcoming of places, very small reception area that needs freshening up and better lighting, as is the corridor leading to the room, but when I got to the room it was not as and as I anticipated. The bathroom looked and felt modern, had two single beds that required only one, wasn't the biggest room, but it did fine, with a couple of chairs to sit if needed, but tbf, I was only there to sleep once I came back from the party. Sleepwise, the beds were comfortable enough, the pillows were lacking substance, but because they were plenty on each bed, it wasn't an issue. The only downside is noise. I got back to the hotel around 1.30 a.m., and I could still hear the music being played, and when that stopped the shouting began followed by the sirens, but once windows were closed, it was better. It was a buffet-style breakfast, and fair play it was nice, had cold or hot options, fruit and continental-style pastries,

The room is not very nice and not clean, such as the Wi-Fi and dirty bathroom floors, as there are children running around in the hall at midnight. It should be better and cheaper as the breakfast is also delicious.

The room was excellently clean and had everything you need, not even a photograph to be taken. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. However, the pillows were quite thin. The view from the room was so amazing. Location wise, the hotel was excellent.
