I stayed at the Barking Park Hotel for one night while working in London. The hotel was fine, in my opinion. My room was really clean, however there were a few issues that had me concerned. The bathroom ceiling was covered in black damp spores and there was a very rusty towel rail. The decor of the room appeared to have not been touched in 20 years. I was unable to take a shower because I wasn't given a towel. I didn't bring a towel with me because I would expect a hotel with assurance amenities to provide the basic essential of a towel. The room had a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities, a clothes hanging rail, a to and a rusty refrigerator. There was new modern led lighting throughout the room. My main concern while staying at the hotel was that when I left the hotel, I was instructed, together with all the other guests, to leave my key in a bowl that was on top of the reception counter. This didn't make me feel at all comfortable. I assumed that anyone could pick my key up intentionally or by mistake. I left any valuable belongings in my car because I felt safer. The hotel looked like it could use some tac and modernization throughout, but I suppose this is in the cost. After highlighting my issues with the hotel, I would probably stay there again for the price. This would
