The hotel is luxurious without being stuffy. All the staff I encountered were friendly, professional and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and I especially enjoyed the cookies. The communal areas are fantastic, so comfortable and brilliant for reading a book with a view. The breakfast has lots of options and is delicious. Looking forward to my next visit.

We had a lovely stay. The views were amazing especially from our bedroom. The food was lovely. Staff so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. 2 minor niggles. The diet coke was awful. Sorry to say as was locally produced but was definitely not to my taste or to many others and there was no other sugar free options only tonic which I personally don't like. Secondly the tv was in totally the wrong position. It couldn't be viewed from the bed on one side due to the position on the bed wall and also the hanging light fixtures were in the way. Luckily we didn't need the tv but we had lovely weather so weren't in our room much. Would definitely return and recommend.

Despite the 1960s look from the front and the scaffolding this hotel is built into the side of the hill is a hidden gem. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The food was excellent and the views of Mawgan Porth were stunning even in the unpleasant weather that we had. Really enjoyed the spa too. Even the Yogi tea that was on offer. Would definitely stay there again

We arrived early, but found it hard to find parking, as there was day visitors.. so we headed to the bar, plenty of seating, along with amazing views, very clean and such friendly kind staff. We decided to have lunch, with glass views, and a glass of wine, and a massive toasted sandwich/ salad/ chips. We could of shared, well presented, super tasty, amazing quality. Then took a walk to the beach, a little narrow, but not difficult, you're find a shop for essentials, & beach shop, pub/ restaurant. The room we had was land view, [ carpark ]no noises, the room was big & double shower, amazing size, nice & hot with pressure. We booked the o go. Lovely restaurant, stunning views, candle light, consistency with everything. Informative with food ingredients, where it comes from, & of the land, we had risotto as I'm a veggie, so 1 option for me, omg, the best ive ever tasted. But the cost of 2 main meals, & bottle of wine was ÂŁ 115..so not cheap. The next day breakfast was amazing, lots of selection, if you require a fried breakfast, this cost is ÂŁ6. Very tasty.. perfect. They have there own bakery, they do not disappoint. They cater for dietary needs. We pre booked a spa in for a massage. Amazing treatment, & issues with my shoulder, all sorted. We then had a sunday lunch, wow the best, plenty of it. This was ÂŁ 66 with 1 wine. There is a pool table, but a family there, seem to stay on it. ? All staff, are are lovely, friendly.

All the staff were very helpful and friendly from reception to spa to waiting staff, could not fault them. Also the food was really good, we ate in the more relaxed restaurant one night and it was lovely. Breakfast was always fresh and varied. We used the pool and spa but didn’t have any treatments. The area was always clean and well looked after and the pool was lovely and warm!

Gorgeous hotel. Super child friendly, yet perfect for adults too. My only complaint was that the pool is FREEZING! But other than that it was one of my favourite family holidays.

We ended up here by accident after being double booked at another (unrelated) hotel. We were made to feel so welcome and looked after that we quickly forgot about the ordeal from the night before ! The room was gorgeous with stunning views. The hotel and spa were clean, staff were friendly, the food was excellent. We are so glad we stumbled upon this hidden gem and can’t wait to return!

It was my girlfriends birthday, we both really enjoyed our stay, the best part of all was the views, 2nd to none. The spa was great too, one thing we would suggest is to have a flavoured water station and herbal tea just like they had upstairs. We will definitely stay again. Adam & Calli

What a beautiful location and welcoming staff. They truly do have the best food in all of Cornwall! I love how they were very eco-conscious and everything even had vegan foie gras. I enjoyed the spa experience. The only thing missing was some flip-flops because the stones were sort of hard to walk on. I enjoyed a hike down to the beach and afterwards had a nice massage at the spa with Stephanie. She was great.

Facilities were excellent as were the staff, the room was great and the housekeeping staff did a terrific job servicing the room whilst i was there. I was made to feel welcome - which was great being a solo traveller. I had an amazing experience with an oula massage and my thanks to the therapist. Only issue i had was with the food sevice in the bar area, my order was forgotten and i waited rather a long time for it to arrive, others recieving theirs despite arriving after mine was placed.

A truly beautiful location. Every single member of staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, with comfortable bed /linens etc. Breakfast was delicious as was dinner at Ogo. My only comment might have been that the main areas were a little bit tired but that didnt detract from a lovely relaxing stay.
