We had a great day on Saturday, October 22nd, at the Simply Stoke Hotel. Karen, the event manager, was available throughout the entire procedure, answering any questions we had and assisting in ensuring that our day went without a hitch. George, the duty manager, was excellent and deserves praise for his service ethic and social abilities. He was again there to ensure that the day ran smoothly, but he looked over everything on a regular basis and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him, for instance, when he offered to heat my nephew's food a year old, going above and beyond. Hugo, one of the bartenders, also merits praise and recognition! He received several guests praise for his great service! All employees on-site to assist with the day were wonderful, including those that were available at breakfast the following morning. The only drawback we had was that the do assigned to us pollack of communication and informed us that we could request as many songs as we wanted for the evening he did not play many of these at all, ignoring the bride and groom. We were forced to reserve a different, smaller room the previous evening so that the bridal party could get ready in, and because we had items moved across later, we were unable to go to the bridal suite until later! The cuisine was fantastic! The rooms, as expected, featured comfortable beds and spectacular views!

Beautiful old building set in a lovely setting. Inside was beautifully presented. The staff were all very helpful and professional, yet friendly. The food was of good quality, tasted great and large portions. The grounds were beautiful. We will stay there again. Parking was available on-site.

The reception here was so good, the service was so professional, the friendliness of the staff was great, and the food was so good, as is the manager's job, and I'm happy. I want to say goodbye to everything. The room was so cozy.
