There was a warm welcome from the proprietor, who checked us in and showed us to our room. The tea/coffee was special with sachets of both tea and coffee from local suppliers. The Hotel has a coffee shop and all cakes, scones and bread are prepared on site. Delicious. There is an honesty bar for alcohol and other beverages on the landing. The breakfast menu once more consisted of a variety of hot and cold options prepared in house including the chefs bread. Bampton is a great centre for walking with lots of variety and the Hotel delighted us

I forget to mention that we have stayed in expensive hotels with smaller inferior rooms and service.

Really nice place. The welcome was great and the bedroom and bathroom simply stunningly decorated and equipped. A relaxed atmosphere and the hosts very keen to do anything to make our stay nice, but did it in an admirably unfussy way. Very enjoyable.

Lovely b&b on the edge of Exmoor but with good access to the coast. Caroline and Nigel were excellent hosts, the accommodation was great, they have gone the extra mile to ensure you couldn't want for anything. We had a perfect 3 night stay.

Det er et gammelt hotell, med mye historikk. Velstelt og hyggelig atmosfære.

This quaint little hotel is fantastic; it's a beautiful hotel with a cosy little dining room, cute little bar and really nice beer garden. The owners were really friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and the room was great. Bathroom had a shower with a power shower and nice hot water. I really couldn't name one bad thing about this hotel. I'd definitely recommend it and will be back next year for next years half ironman at Wimbleball lake - on that note the owners left out breakfast for us so that it was available for us at 3am when we needed it, thank you again.

At the start of the heatwave, we spent the night at Bridge House. The charming garden, in which Caroline makes you tea when you arrive, is a lovely place to settle in and relax outdoors. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, and the entire facility is operated with a lot of efficiency, but there is a feeling of complete comfort and warmth. Additionally, the breakfast is incredibly delicious, with an exciting and tasty menu. For an unusual and refreshing summer start to the day, I wholeheartedly recommend the overnight oats. Ive been cooking them at home since I started, and the slowroasted tomatoes on sourdough toast with ricotta and oregano would rank high on my list of restaurants! Caroline and Nigel are lovely hosts who are incredibly caring and considerate of their visitors. In conclusion, this is a magnificently nice place to stay, taking the concept and experience of be to another level, oh, and it's incredibly affordable!.

Our final assessment of the service at this hostel is that it provides a relaxing atmosphere and makes us feel at home. We spent the night here as our lodging source for touring exeter, and we were happy to learn that it is run by Caroline and Nigel. The bedrooms are quite appealing, the bed is extremely comfy, and everything has been thoughtfully planned. The fresh milk that you can get in a fridge on the landing areas always tops of my list! When we got there, we were treated to wonderful scones and tea in a lovely garden, and the breakfast was simply one of the best weve had in the U.S.I. We praised the thoughtfulness of all the precautions in place right now.

This was a last-minute reservation. What a treat! A beautiful room with elegantly planned decor inside the ambiance of an old moor inn that was enlivened with style and luxury. The proprietor Caroline was quite friendly. When I visited, they do not serve dinner, but the delicious breakfast and lunch menus are reportedly very popular. There are also excellent eateries close by.

I already felt like missing it after only staying 4 nights. The atmosphere was so cozy even though it was raining all day. Caroline and Nigel did their best to make you feel welcome. But if we go back, we will definitely return.
