This is my second time staying at this hotel, it's delightful and charming with a historical background. Parking is available right outside the hotel at 10 am every night, the rooms are comfortable, even though we had noisy neighbors so the walls could be a bit thin. The shower was a bit old and did not have an adjustable basin, and there were very few toiletries. A fantastic location if you're in taunting or the surrounding area.

I reserve a two-night vacation here to celebrate my wife's milestone birthday, and we had a wonderful weekend. The receptionist was exceptionally cordial and gave us everything we required to know about the hotel when we arrived. We soon regretted booking for a week because our room, media, was a fantastic, roomy suite facing the garden on the side of the hotel. Because the food is delicious and presented in a genuine manner, there is no need for a guest to eat elsewhere in the city because the hotel restaurant has a well-deserved reputation. On my first night, I made the soused marmalade to start the meal, and I would delight in getting this recipe from the cook. I had an excellent roasted somerset corn-fed chicken breast for the main course. The restaurant has a large selection of price tags that cater to all levels, and we even ordered a local white wine from somerset on our first night, which was priced at a level that matched wines from overseas. Although breakfast is served buffet, the ingredients were of excellent grade, and my only complaint would be that crispy hash browns cannot tolerate the steam from the bain marie. The brunch chef is exceptional and must have masters in egg poaching, which was consistently flawless. The employees at this location are incredible, and the entire staff should teach other hotels how to do so! We stayed at the castle for one night because there was a seminar we had to attend. We reserved a garden suite and a breakfast. I have only spoken about the unmatched service provided by the entire crew since we stayed. From the online check in process to the immediate response to our request for an early checkin, yes, to a smiling welcome from the receptionist and a lovely conversation with her. The staff at our event were discreet, pleasant, and efficient, as well as the bar employees who were extremely helpful in looking for a late-night snack! Breakfast was stunning, with juice, fruit, and bacon of exceptional quality. The only thing I would say is that although clean, the suite's decor is a little antiquated, but it isn't significant, it would enhance the whole experience.

This was beyond our expectations. Every detail was planned and the staff were absolutely amazing anticipating any need with so much enthusiasm and smiling the whole time. The staff were well trained, working calmly and quietly with such precision that you were unaware that your empty dishes were removed and replaced with the next delight. The food was delicious. The hotel has character, it is large and immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was very nice. Special thanks to rosie and david and the entire staff employed.

This hotel has a historical and charming design. We are very grateful to have a location like this in England. The interior design and all the souvenirs were both lovely. Our hotel room at the top was very clean and peaceful. While the bathroom and room are quite worn, we didn't mind at all! If the hotel were renovated, I don't think it would be better because it might lose its unquestionably charming character. We had a great time at the restaurant, which has been meticulously renovated, and our dinner was excellent. In the same restaurant, a very full and delicious breakfast was served. I enjoyed the best hot chocolate I have ever had anywhere. We would have no qualms about recommending this hotel and will certainly be back. The wisteria in front of the hotel is spectacular!.
