We were met promptly by a very friendly lady who took us to our room and explained things. Very comfortable,clean and warm, not a huge room but everything we needed. Only minus was a badly stained towel in bathroom Our dinners were excellent, fabulous lamb rack, beautifully cooked and chicken dish so good my friend had it on both evenings. The breakfasts were really good too, excellent friendly service and lovely food. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay again

Beautiful, peaceful and idyllic country pub. Efficient staff, polite and helpful. Lovely rooms and very convenient location. Great menu with a variety of dishes....wonderful cheese souffle, fabulous ribeye steak. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.

A traditional village pub, full of character. We stayed for 2 nights, the room was light and very comfortable. Everything was very clean. Free internet access was included. It was lovely to have the choice of 2 dining locations, the main restaurant offered a varied menu and delivered excellent food. The Pizzas at the Chalet were lovely and we had a very enjoyable evening of live music on the Sunday night. The staff were really friendly. Good choice for breakfast. It was a good base to explore the area.We would definately return.

The stay was very accommodating from arrival to check out with friendly and cheerful staff. Didn’t have breakfast due to early start but it was offered from half 7am. The location was quiet and the rooms were nicely laid out with lovely hot shower. Coffee from machine in the morning was a bonus and much appreciated! Would stay again.

Beautiful old pub. Rooms were nicely finished and the food was very good. In a lovely, quiet village. No amenities in the village; however, there are other bigger villages nearby. Stayed 3 nights and would recommend.

Everything about the Cat and Custard Pot was perfect. They were extremely welcoming offering advice and help. The room was spotless and had everything you needed. The evening meal was delicious. The basil linguine was the best pasta I had had outside Italy. We thoroughly recommend this place.
