Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely Manor House. Jakes and Jane were extremely welcoming and friendly. Our room was very comfortable. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided in room daily were very welcomed after a day walking on the Moors. An amazing breakfast every morning which was delicious. Lovely and peaceful location with easy access to Dartmoor and Cornwall. Would definitely stay here again.

What a find! A quaint old building oozing character with everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing break. We wanted for nothing and the hosts couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Breakfast was top notch. Overall excellent value for money. I can't recommend this hotel enough! Our adult family of 6 stayed here for two nights on a trip to visit Dartmoor from the US. Jakes and Jane were so hospitable and kind, and the hotel is extremely comfortable. We wished we could stay longer.

The staff were extremely helpful and on hand if and when we needed them. This is an old building which has kept its character which added to the experience. The room had an en-suite and was clean and the water was nice and hot. They don’t do evening meals but Okehampton is not far away so eating out is not a problem. Breakfast was excellent and plenary of choice.
