If you read that a site is 5 star and charges 26 per night in the winter, you expect a certain standard. No mobile internet signal, pitches crammed together, no privacy fences, only 2 or 3 showers and, as far as I could see, one hairdryer. And those annoying pushbutton pennypinching showers that leave a dent in your back in an effort to wash your hair while maintaining the lukewarm stream can those really be 5 stars? We couldn't see a driveover larger landfill area anywhere but maybe we missed it. Expensive shop. Not sure if anything was wrong with the electric but our fridge kept beeping on and off all night so perhaps it was limited in some way? Good points were that the cleanliness was good and the site was quiet. We would consider 1518 to be a more realistic price for the time of year and standard of amenities. Profit seems to be much more important here than customer satisfaction, and unfortunately we would not return or be happy to recommend it.

We booked this place earlier this year, and will stay longer for another year. This is a great one-night stay. Astro turf and an electric tent pitch. This place is very friendly and warm. The bathroom and shower blocks are clean and very clean.

I haven't visited this place again. Four nights were spent in one of the luxury vacation trailers. Don't get me wrong, the RV was adequate, but it wasn't as described, earning it five stars. It's a six-berth, I'd feel very crowded with more than two adults inside. There was only one bin on the whole property, there were no toilet containers, and there was no hand soap. I appreciated that washing up liquid, a cloth, a sponge, and a tea towel were offered, but in the present climate, some hand wash would have been good. I recently stayed in a different park and it was supplied so it made me very uneasy to get the dog out armed only with a phone torch. Although it's totally cloudy after the sunset, it's absolutely pitch black, so I felt very uneasy pulling out the dog. The pillows were duck feathers, which seemed like sleeping on a sandbag, but I realize that this is a subjective reaction, and others might appreciate this touch more. The kitchen was wellequipped, but there wasn't much storage space for foods that weren't for the fridgefreezer. It's good that it's a full-sized fridge freezer.
