I didn't use the shared bathroom. Toilets were fine. Ceiling was mouldy. Curtains didn't fit. Sheets were clean and the room had its own since and teacup. There was no signal on the channel. Wifi is fine. The entire place smells like ash tray.

This is a solid tradesmens' hotel, clean basic service and a friendly, personable staff. If you want slick and modern, this is not the place for you; but if you want reliable services and a decent breakfast, this could be your home-from-home.

This place is cheap and cheerful... very cheerful. The owners are lovley people and very welcoming. Don't expect anything fancy, but if you plan to be out and about and to come back for low price/good food and beer before crashing then you will be happy here. Lots of men away from home - working locally, but unexpectedly the atmosphere is very nice ... I think due to them all knowing how it is to be away from family etc. and all very civil. Stayed here many times while visiting nearby university and always happy to save money! My advice, pay a bit more for your own in-room bathroom.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise and great value for money being the cheapest yet without compromise on standards. 3 course breakfast included in my tariff, free wifi, white linen changed daily and free car parking. Bar and restaurant also available.

Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Quick check in. Did move rooms due to remote control not working. Everything was available that I required. Probably could do with more attention to cleaning, but it was adequate. Walls a bit thin - I heard snoring from next door. Breakfast was good, though would be good to have some fresh fruit.

The Hotel is nice overall, not 5 star by any means but the romm was spacious the bed was good, could do with extra pillows and a more modern shower system. Air con would be a bonus. But overall was a decent stay if your on a budget

It was close to where I needed to be and for 3* price excellent - if you want 5* quality though pay more elsewhere. Breakfast good and staff extra helpful.
