We did take advantage of this offer and chose Newark as we didn't want to drive long and hadn't been there before. Expect nothing extraordinary from a 3-star hotel like this one. Everything was decent and reasonably priced. Drinks and food were reasonably priced, with a decent selection. We probably had the best-placed room in the hotel because it was close to a busy road. However, it wasn't bothering us, but others might sneer. The hotel is a short walk to the city center, in a good location, and simple to locate. If we had to go to Newark, we would stay here again. We are also fans of the blue monkey brewery, and they have a pub in town.

We stayed two nights in what we discovered to be the old Newark Hospital renovated nurses home. The room we had with a ringside bed was very comfortable, nice and warm. For anyone with mobility difficulties, the step down into the ensure might be challenging. However, the staff at the front desk, bar, and restaurant were very helpful and friendly. We hope to visit again later this year.

The staff here was amazing, especially the bartenders, the meal, and the beautiful condition of the room.

The place was in a great location but we will not be back. The room was ok, clean but dated. I had to wait a long time for someone to check us in. Breakfast was terrible. Instant coffee and water from a urn. Breakfast order was taken the previous night and I think they cooked it the previous night.
