The room was exactly as described, clean and comfortable for a budget hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. There was an issue with the lift during my visit, which was a bit inconvenient, but otherwise everything was fine. Overall, good value for money and a pleasant stay for the price.

It’s a proper old fashioned seaside hotel. Plenty of places to sit and chat and eat and drink. Friendly staff. The hotel is quite old so do not have plugs by the bed so if you need that for charging phones (or cpap machines) then bring an extension cord 😊 I was a solo traveller with a dog and people could not have been nicer. I can’t wait to return 👏

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Burstin Hotel in Folkestone. The location is perfect, the staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. The rooms are offered at a sensible price. Excellent value for money overall. Highly recommend for a relaxing short break!

The location is excellent, staff very friendly. Didn’t use the amenities but walking around everything is awesomely close! Sea room with lovely view, shame some window panels have blown double glazed units, tv signal pixelated, and take your own shampoo and body wash. That said for the money it was fabulous and will definitely stay again! So thank you Kind regards Simon

This was my second stay at the hotel. I first visited last summer for leisure, and this time I came to escape the chaos of the city. I stayed for eight nights. The staff were friendly, and my room was clean throughout my stay. The hotel offers several restaurants and a café, along with a new vegan-friendly menu. The gym, pool, and sauna were all nice bonuses. It’s a budget hotel, so you get what you pay for. The location is lively during the summer months, while winter is slow and quiet. There were a few minor issues, such as the hot water supply not always being steady. Overall, though, it was a decent place to stay

Worked really well for us; quick check in, clean room and bathroom, convenient location. Breakfast not perfect- no question about quantity, but quality sometimes lacking, and no hash browns (serious failing for one daughter!). Tedious having to pay for a relatively small and dimly lit pool, but we didn’t use it often.
