I was visiting for two nights and the staff was super helpful giving me suggestions about what was worth seeing in Edinburgh. The room was large, and the bed was comfortable, and the location was excellent being right in the thick of things.

The location of this hotel is perfect for touring old town Edinburgh. Situated in the Grassmarket surrounded by shops, restaurants and pubs. Very walkable location. Hotel is small and clean. Staff are so helpful. Our room was small, but had all amenities. Highly recommend.

This hotel has an excellent location on GrassMarket square. We spent 2 nights and used the hotel as base camp to explore the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, the Hop on Hop Off and Waverley station. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We did not eat any meals at the hotel, choosing instead to eat at local pubs nearby. The only suggestions for improvement are to update the shower/tub. Tub is very high and so narrow you can’t actually stand comfortably. There was also some mildew stains on the caulking. The hotel entrance also has several stairs to get to reception which make it hard to navigate with luggage or if you have mobility issues. Staff were very quick to offer to help but a ramp would be preferable. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone unless you have accessibility requirements, you may want to check how you would get to reception.

The room was spacious and the finishings were modern and fun. It was noisy at times with music, we weren't sure if it was coming from the pub next door or another guest room, but thankfully it usually quieted down by the evening. Great location for walking the Royal Mile and near a lot of restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Good value and value for money. Not a fan on the clear bathroom doors as you can see people through and it's not really sealed closed properly like a proper door so can hear and smell everything. Stayed in quad room and the floor was VERY creaky, couldn't move around without noise so wasn't the best at night for when people wanted to use the bathroom For one night it's fine though, just needed somewhere to rest your head

Great room in awesome location. We were able to walk to the castle, do th royal mile down to the palace and then walk up Carlton hill in a great day out, then walk back to our room from there and have a great meal and a Guinness at the Irish pub next door.
