Really enjoyed staying here. Our room was very comfortable and clean with a cozy home type of feel. The owners are very nice and very helpful. The location is a very good place in town and the owners helped us with recommendations for places to visit and where to eat.

Great location, handy for shops and restaurants and also handy for cycling the 4 abbeys way and/or walking part of the St Cuthberts Way or nearby Pennine Way. Room and Hotel in general was very clean and the proprietors were very welcoming and helpful. WE would stay here again.

Hotel kelso is the best place to stay. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The bed is excellent and the hosts take excellent care of us all. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast is cooked to order when you want it. Lovely place and would recommend it.

My stay here was great with a two-night stay in August 2021. The room is really clean and spacious with 1010 breakfast, I really like the haggis. The bed is comfy. Its close to the town and also to the bar next door there are great cocktails and moretti on tap. We were visiting Holy Island and Brick upon tweed which is about a 40-minute drive away. I would highly suggest it and hope to return one day.

Lisa and Collin, our hosts, were quite polite and accommodating, even offering a jug of fresh milk to make tea on arrival, which was very necessary. The bathroom in our room was beautiful and big. The guest house is strategically located near restaurants. The request for well-cooked sausages did not get taken into account for the breakfast, and it wasn't quite as good as expected. They were very helpful in recommending a great location to buy a packed lunch in the morning.

This delightful guest house has just welcomed us. We had a terrific few nights here recently. We had so many vacations planned, but given the current upsurge in staycations, there were very few places to stay. My partner found and reserved this lodging a little further out. Because a room was available at the last minute, I feared that our time there would be unfulfilling. How wrong am I? The setting was ideal, on the side of the tweed river with lots of shops, eateries, and pubs, facing the Kelso Abbey ruins. The accommodations were wonderful. We've never stayed in a spotlessly tidy location. Huge accommodation, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, and an incredible freshly prepared breakfast. The hosts were pleasant but unobtrusive. I can't fault them, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A wonderful base for exploring both sides of the border with ease. big thank you to colin and Lisa. fantastic hosts.

The staff here was really friendly and professional. In the room, there is a large bedroom with a comfortable bed and clean condition. In the bathroom, there is a spacious bathroom with a good shower at one end. They also serve breakfast to order and they also serve good portions.
