The staff were absolutely amazing, me and my partner stayed for the weekend for a wedding. I felt very welcomed, and as though we had known each other for years! For that reason alone we are definitely going back. The food is great, fresh and hot! The rooms are quaint, and well presented. Initially there were a few issues which could not be helped, the staff were so attentive and apologetic, that we felt that they couldn’t have done more. So recommend this place, just for the staff alone!!

It had air conditioning in a heat wave - what more can I say - it was heaven ! Lovely compact room with ensuite- could do with a bit of maintenance and clean but was perfectly adequate for our needs. Lovely staff and excellent food. Stayed 6 nights - Brilliant view from the bedroom window and couldn't hear any noise from the pub downstairs- Lovely place 😀

This quirky stay was right up our street, accommodation was clean and tidy, breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice, the views were beautiful and a relaxing and calm environment. the staff were so accommodating and pleasant with great sense of humour and genuine people. We will definitely book here again on our travels. I can't fault our stay in any way.

Lovely well run pub down on the quay side. Picturesque setting with sail boats moored on waters edge. Short walk from promenade park. The Manager & his staff were very helpful and polite. Rooms were clean with all amenities we required. Bar was well stocked run well. Food was wonderful with good service. Would recommend.

From start to finshe could not fault, the room had lovely air-conditioning unit which was a bonus, Brakfast was plentiful and lots of options to choose from. I would recommend to anyone. Staff was so welcoming felt like you turned up as a customer and left as a friend.

Could not fault the fish on the quay, only negative is the lack of overnight parking, although there are about 8 on street parking spaces outside the pub opposite, so you need to be on the ball to get one of them.

Straight away we received a really warm welcome. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Our room was lovely with a great view of the river. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were blissful and the bedding was lovely. Being a 500 year old building there was a slight slope from one end of the room to the other which was really cute. Good shower and towels, soap and small shower gels provided. Tea, green tea bags and coffee too. Good selection for breakfast which was fresh and delicious and eaten while watching the boats on the estuary. A really lovely stay. Will definitely book again.

From the time we arrived until we left we had the very best of times. Clean room, great staff, Kieran, Johnny and Summer were awesome. And overall the food was absolutely delicious.. from breakfast through to and including the Sunday toast with delicious cauliflower cheese!! Highly recommended

15th century building with the charm & quirks you would expect. Hotel is right on the water and we had a lovely view from our room. Location of hotel was great just a short walk to the high street with lots of shops , bars and restaurants. Also a stones throw away from promenade park. The best thing about our stay was the staff. Kieran, Jess and the team are fabulous they made us feel so welcome and they were super helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was amazing, good choice and quality ingredients. Came as quests and felt like we left as friends, we will be back ! Thanks for a great stay

Lovely friendly welcome, room was clean & comfortable with beautiful view over the Quay. Friendly helpful staff, good selection of drinks in the pub. Great catch of the day evening meal & very good wide selection breakfast. Will definitely be returning.

On arrival staff were very welcoming. We were able to check in a little earlier and shown to our room and given all the info we needed for our stay. Quirky little pub with entrance to our room up a little staircase through the kitchen area. Stairs maybe a little tricky for some as they are quite steep. Our room was pretty basic (which we expected for a b&b and at the price range) but was very clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. We had a lovely view of the Quay too. The bed was comfy and there were coffee and tea facilities in the room. We had the full English in the morning and it was amazing! Really tasty! I think what really made the stay for us was the hospitality we received from the staff. It really made our stay and we would definitely stay again so thank you Fish on the Quay!

Omg the whole experience here was fabulous, Summer and Ebony the 2 female staff were wonderful. Summer would go above and beyond and nothing was too much for her. She had a wonderful sweet funny aura about that was so refreshing. Later we met Kieran the manager he was wonderful so helpful and very funny even though he was unwell with flue nothing was to much. Such a wonderful place to stay, very clean and the food was amazing too. Dog friendly and loads of treats a for the dog available and we even got a doggy pack. The area was wonderful loads to see and lovely walks for the dog. Definitely stay again we can highly recommend. Thank you to all at Fish on the Quay for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable !!
