It was a pleasant stay with friendly staff, you make your own breakfast there a variety of cereals and toast, croissants. Wifi available and the b&b is close to town centre.. I will definitely go back.

I liked #20 because it was on ground floor. I shared this suite of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen with a friend. We made our own breakfast with cereals and fruit which was just fine. 5 minute walk to the Abbey. The place is an excellent value.

This is a quaint two bedroom property all on one floor with a well stocked kitchen and large bathroom & shower. Barry, the owner, is very helpful & friendly. I would thoroughly recommend it. It’s not the Ritz but hey how many people stay there!! Central for St Albans & 15 min walk to City Railway station.

Barry gives you a warm welcome to his traditional property with a well stocked kitchen and large bathroom. It's about a ten minute walk from this quiet back street to St Alban's Cathedral and the city centre. Very comfortable. Very good wifi and TV in your room. Highly recommended.

Not posh,! Fully functional kitchen well-stocked ( bread, milk, drinks, fruit, cereal and more!) beds clean and comfortable, near town centre. Carpark opposite . Reasonably priced ! what more do you need?!

Barry very graciously accepted some mail I had asked to be delivered to his place. That was a great help, since this was my first dayin the UK. Also, he had no problem with my Bank of Ulster notes. As a tourist, it amazes me rhat so many establishments won't accept them (and since i don't have a bank account in the UK, I cant exchange them in a bank or the Post Office, either. Ridiculous!) The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast supplies acceeded my expectations!

Barry is an excellent host and gave me a good welcome. Kitchen well supplied with food. Plenty of hot water. Quiet. Very convenient to the centre of St Albans. My room was quaint and warm. All in all excellent.
