This hostel is the best ive ever stayed in. The price is affordable, clean, laundry facilities, kitchen, lots of bathrooms and showers. You can choose between all female dorms or mixed. Great bar downstairs and location right at grass market. Edinburgh castle is literally right outside the front door. Lots of places to eat, clubs and pubs with great shops everywhere. Staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast is basic but good.

This place is in the center of the city and is a good place to stay. As i said, this hostel does its job. For 4.5 gbp, there is an inexpensive but basic breakfast which is cheaper if purchased at checkin. However, ive really thought it wasnt that clean. The shared bathrooms and showers in hallways could be cleaned better. Ive stayed in better hostels for cleanliness. And honestly, considering the price, it made me feel not worth it.

This place is highly recommended. The hotel itself is in a great location, there is diversity, daily entertainment, and the staff are very nice. Its rated 10 out of 10. The environment was clean and safe.

The hostel is clean and modern. The location is great, central (great view of edinburgh castle right next to it), had a pod in symphony dormitory, but people were respectful and quiet. There are two light options regular warm light and panel to select colors and adjust brightness, 2 small nightstands and tv outlets below the pods. Very spacious digital code safe is located below each pod. Not all bathrooms are the same, some have separate showers, separate toilets the ones by my room were double with enclosing toilet and shower lock hooks for hanging shower stuff.

The location is perfect, and the bed is very comfortable. The shower didnt have water so i just waited for another one - was in a new one within 5 minutes. Really not causing any trouble for me because the rooms themselves are private. Will stay here again when ive back in town.

Ideal position in the heart of the old town of edinburg. The castle can be seen directly outside the window. I am very pleased with the cleanliness of this place because the toilets and showers are cleaned frequently throughout the day. Showers, as in all hostels were really disappointing! Set on a very high spot on the wall, only suitable for tall people. Did not want to wash my hair but couldnt avoid the water spraying directly on my face. Water is also very cold. Apart from that my experience here was great! Feels really safe (woman solo traveler) and has calming atmosphere. Same applies to all of Edinburgh, of course you have to be careful.

The location is excellent, and the staff is outstanding. Although the pods were clean and safe, some of the lockers in the room were broken. Avoid taking a shower during peak hours because the water pressure is so low that it is impossible. The bar is pleasant and offers sweeping views of this castle.

My first time staying in a hostel was fantastic. I stayed in both the pods and the female dorm, both of which were excellent. The amount of activities they offered for us, though, will have to be my favorite and most memorable part, there was always something going on for those who wanted to meet new people. It was incredibly enjoyable during the pub crawl! If you are young and looking for something fun while also being close to everything you need, this is unquestionably the place to go! There are plenty of restrooms as well as i love the common area. Thank you guys, ill return when ive returned!.

This is a really nice hostel near edinburgh castle. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They provide usb sockets, lights, and plugs. And then, the pod beds are great for privacy because they have curtains. After that, they provide lights with upvc socket as well. Subsequently, this hostel close to henry castle too.

I normally stay at premier hubs, but since it was a lastminute trip for i saw upcoming gigs and the cash was tight, ill make this reservation. It includes mixed open dorms with mixed pod beds, mixed room doorm rooms, and femaleonly dourm suites. The room ive been assigned to was an apartment with 22 beds. On arrival, you are given eta discs to claim oat and your pass key. Under the beds are spacious storage lockers that are under the mattresses. There is ps 20 for the night and pps 4.50 for breakfast, so if you want to go anywhere without carrying bags, then you can use them. I had 58, however, in my top pod, there are individual showers on each floor, communal kitchen, chill area, bar area. Music is played pretty much always, as is the case with pool table. Since he had another gig to see, im not spending much time in the hotel. When resuming, we went back to the chill zone with lukewarm water, fresh fruit, preserves of yogurt, tea, orange, apple juice, etc. This was bread, toast machine, cut meat and cheese, jam, butter, jelly, or other beverages. If you plan to wander around without heavy bags before leaving, luggage storage is available. Really, its cosy, comfortable

The hostel boasts a stunning location and is conveniently situated. From the window, you can enjoy the view of the castle or take two minutes to get there. The rooms and bathrooms are impeccably clean. At the reception, the two guys were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They made me feel welcome and even offered me iced coffee upon checkin even though breakfast wasnt ready yet. I am eagerly looking forward to returning in the future.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at kickass. Ive been using pod beds for a long time, but this is the first time ive had fewer nights in hotels than in kickarsi. Other guests were quiet and respectful, so we have no problems at all. Avoid peak shower times, great value for money.

The reception staff is excellent. The place is a great size. I recommend the pods over the open bunk beds without arguing that they offer 200% more privacy. With tucked away locker under the tent, it feels larger and more secure. There is no need to bring pliers. As with other reviews, i found the pillow to be difficult to sleep on. Due to the scent, the bed linen didnt seem particularly fresh to me. But aside from that, 10/10. Edinburghs best value for money, in my opinion.

The pod rooms are very good with privacy and space. The pub crawl was so much fun and organized so well by the staff. Had a lot of fun at this hostel!.
