We had a lovely time at the Kilchoan Hotel, staying for a couple of nights whilst we explored the area. The room was spacious, clean and had comfortable beds that were very firm. The bathroom had recently been refurbished to a very high spec and the shower was excellent. The bar downstairs was welcoming, had a great selection of drinks including local whiskies. The food was great, with locally sourced produce but would love to see more seafood if it is available.

Nous avions une chambre au 2e étage donc super calme ! Grand lit, chambre spacieuse et confortable, super propre. Le bar est top pour boire un coup avant de manger, bonnes bières, bonne ambiance. Personnel souriant et super accueillant. Dîner très bon, comme le petit déj ! Excellent rapport qualité prix. Inconvénient : wifi quasi inexistant au 2e étage. Service de repas un peu long mais à priori il y avait un problème ce soir là.

Service and attitude of staff was outstandingly helpful, attentive and friendly, despite it being a fully booked long weekend. Room was comfortable, bathroom very nice. Evening dinner was tasty, freshly cooked and appetising No disappointments whatsoever. Staff deserve a bif thank you. Even the weather was nice. DMcG

Very nice service and great view. We almost have only good things to say. The one negetive thing we found was that there were no wifi in the room and the beds were a bit to hard.

Hotel a little dated and lacking in real comfort. Only one comfy chair in room. No residents lounge, possibly due to Covid spacing. Bring your own shower gel as shampoo and soap only. Food in restaurant limited. Very disappointed as no fish dishes apart from fish and chips and scampi and chips. Beef pie very gristly. Vegetarian breakfast same as full Scottish, minus meat, no vegetarian sausages! Disappointing..Average food. Staff really great, absolutely made our stay , otherwise would only give two stars.

Hotel looking a bit tired and very basic. Dinner was quite good but bar closed at 9pm with nowhere to go but to bedroom! Breakfast was basic with not a lot of choice. Very disappointed especially with the cost of the stay.

The room needs some updating - but was clean. Windows didnt fit well - so wind whistled through them all night, so we found it hard to sleep. Staff were efficient and polite - and food was also good.
