Due to the location's deterioration, we had originally scheduled for three nights, but we only spent one. On the street corner, there were several young guys smoking what smelled like weed when we first arrived. When I first arrived, there was a group of young men smoking what smelt like weed. My older mother had to climb up the stairs because of the steep stairs and the visible bugs and cobwebs on the stairs, and the kitchen was unpleasant and in need of cleaning. A cat was also roaming around whose cage was in the dining area, which was attached to the kitchen. No hot water was available from the bathroom sink taps. Although welcoming, the room itself was quite chilly. While an electric heater was provided, it took a while to heat it up. The personnel were courteous and there were numerous bathrooms nearby. Sadly, owing to the inability to quickly allow the room, no reimbursement was given.

I was so thrilled to find the man's place on short notice. He was very helpful if I had issues with my credit card before arrival. Due to flight delays and bus connections, it was nighttime that I arrived. He still gave me access to my room with access codes over the phone, even though he was not present. I must admit that the room was a little disappointing. The bed was excellent, but the door stuck and the floor was dirty. There is a taxi service next door, which was excellent when I had an early departure. Broad Street is a 20-minute walk away.

Upon arriving, we've noticed that the 'hotel' was completely run down. The front door was just a plier wood joke and could be kicked in, in a second. The parking lot in the back contains literal piles of rubbish and questionable teenager were hanging around. Apparently this 'hotel' has three levels (to be quite fair, understanding the guy that showed us around was hard as he spoke the worst and most broken English I have ever encounted) and we only saw the lower level. The hallways looked absolutely awful, the walls were extremely thin and you could hear everything. The shared bathroom was not only small, but also looked dirty; maybe not visibly but it was obvious that it just simply wasn't clean. The shower smelled faintly like a weird mixture of bleach and chlorine, I am just speechless. I was surprised that under those conditions the place had the money to install something that looked like a lock. The living room was somewhat clean, but it still looked as if someone got all furniture from a charity fair. The kitchen was absolutely disgusting and the cabinet doors were almost falling off. The sink was incredibly dirty and the microwave as well. It was absolutely awful! Now the room looked bigger on the pictures than it actually did. It was clean, it looked normal but again the furniture looked as if they were purchased from a charity. I can absolutely advise you to stay away from this place. Even for people on a budget! Save some money and get a proper hotel!
