Good value good size single room nice and clean, reception was fast no waiting around, good w fi, nice TV , enjoyed my stay.also plenty of nightlife close by, but hotel is located in a very quiet road.

This has been my fourth visit to Mclays. As guest houses go this is one of the best spotlessly clean lovely staff comfortable bed great breakfast a very well run guest house.

The Property is just a block from the main shopping street in Glasgow. Bus is accessible within minutes.The breakfast was great.Staff was always super friendly and helpful.

Fresh, recently renovated room, with excellent bed and clean bathroom. Lots of space and good curtains that keep the light out. The staff was friendly and obliging. Full Scottish breakfast or why not go for the healthy porridge? There was no elevator but I seldom uses them anyway. Only 2 stairs to climb to yhe top floor. The neighbourhood was perfect for my purposes. Close to the Kelvingrove Park and to several museums. 15 minute walk to the city centre but on the other hand you have Sauchiehall street with lots of restaurants close by. Close to Buchanan bus station where buses to Edinburgh airport (50 minutes) and Glagow airport (25 minutes) leaves frequently.

Very kind staff, helpful and service minded. The best beds, large rooms and a very clean bathroom. Full scottish breakfast included. Perhaps we missed an elevator but you cannot have it all. I will absolutely come back!

The location of McLays Hotel is good, as it's close to Glasgow City Centre, and also to the main bus and train stations. The room was very clean, and it was also very quiet. Also the staff are very helpful and friendly as well.

The twin bed room had plenty of space, was well lit, the room was comparable to a room at the Hilton. The staff was extremely helpful and responsive. The location was ideal as could walk to all the center city sights and not hassle with public transportation
