An amazing renovated farmhouse with Nicky and Kevin as charming helpful hosts in the lovely village of Samford Courtney. Clean comfortable bedroom with en-suite. Great breakfast. Nicky provided clear directions to the Tarka Trail path where we viewed the sweet scent of bluebells. Highly recommended. Will definitely stay again.

This was our first stay in a house with a thatched roof - and it has to be said the property was immaculately presented, with a great blend of the new and the old. Modern facilities such as a new shower, but little aspects of the original design preserved too, and a very homely feel. Kevin and Nicky were lovely hosts, they made us feel welcome throughout. The cooked breakfasts were really nice, in particular the home-made black currant & butter jam went down well with my girlfriend! Lots of lovely walks in the surrounding area. The New Inn pub is a few minutes walk away, which serves really nice food and good local ales. Would love to stay again when we next visit Devon :)

We would absolutely book here again if we visit Devon in the future. We enjoyed our entire week here. Nicky and Kevin were excellent hosts, nothing too much difficulty. The food was wonderful, it had never had such fresh and delicious poached eggs, the rooms were spotless, and the cottage was so stunning. The village was so lovely, as was the surrounding area, and this was a great place to discover Devon and Cornwall, as well as local restaurants, which were plentiful to choose from. Nicky cream teas and homemade jams were delicious, particularly the black currant compote. Parking was on the side of the cottage via a gate. Excellent value.

We remained at the local church for our sons wedding. Nicky Kevin was delightful and very friendly! A delicious cream tea, homemade scones, and strawberry jam were provided to us as welcome guests. The accommodation had character, was tidy, and was incredibly cozy. With homemade granola, preserves, and fresh eggs, breakfast was delectable. The location is lovely, and we enjoyed a lovely stroll to Honeychurch. The church is lovely, and the views from the area are breathtaking. The nearby pub was excellent as well.

We had a peaceful and tranquil stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was tasty, the property had a nice character and had been lovingly restored. Kevin and his charming host made us feel very welcome. I hope to return.

This was our second stay at Middleton Farm and it was perfect. We can't recommend nicky and kevin more highly. They are very friendly, the bedroom is lovely and the breakfast is fantastic. We parked our bikes in a secure parking spot, secured to security posts that kevin had set up. The village is charming encircled by beautiful countryside and has a fantastic inn with a restaurant to eat just a five-minute walk away. The price was great value for money. We will definitely return.

This was a romantic weekend away, but this place could be used as a bar on a walk in Dartmoor or to end a long journey to Cornwall. It is in a stunning building in an extremely picturesque Luke village. The room was clean, fresh, and comfortable. Kevin and Nicky were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was large and delicious. Fresh eggs from their hands, homemade jams. The blackberry curd with yogurt was delicious.
