whole hotel was spotless and well maintained Aircon was lovely and cold and staff were friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was great as were sauna and steam room. Only a ten minute train journey in to the city and also trams running every 7 minutes. well located off the motorway too perfect hotel for exploring Edinburgh but not being right in the centre of everything.

Staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Service at times a little slow, but belueve they were a little understaffed. They are in an excellent location for public transportation to down town Edinburgh.

The room was clean and functional. I wouldn't say it was over characteristic just a simple hotel room. The room had a bath and a shower which was nice! The breakfast was good; there was always a selection of different foods, from cooked to Continental. The pool was warm; however, the jacuzzi jets weren't on (couldn't work out how to turn them on) but the steam room was lovely and had a pepperminty smell. Overall, lovely and would stay again!

Great pool, super handy on the tram from the airport and can shuttle back and forth to the centre as needed. Also there's an Aldi right opposite and a fridge in rooms so you can do light touch self catering if that helps on budget.

We loved our stay at Novotel in Scotland. It was only 15-20 minutes away from the downtown city center and the Scotrail was right outside the hotel. If you are travelling to another city and need to take the train that was also easily accessible. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of different options. I would definitely stay at Novotel again on my next visit.

Very clean hotel with large rooms. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are very helpful. The swimming pool is not that big but it is still good. There are plenty of towels outside the entrance to the mixed changing rooms. There are two small changing rooms inside this area and lockers. The lockers require a £1 coin deposit for the key lock. The hotel is situated right next to the tramline for access to the city centre / airport, the transcripts 200m from hotel entrance.

Lovely hotel just far enough outside the city centre. Lovely tram ride into city. Room was lovely and large for the 3 of us. Nice swimming pool be it a little small. We would definitely stay here again.
