This was our first experience of a dog friendly hotel and it was amazing to have the comfort and convenience of a hotel room whilst having our pet with us. As expected the room was basic but clean and spacious. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and the hotel is ideally situated for the dog friendly beach and other attractions such as Shanklin Chine. We didn’t see much of the entertainment but the ‘happy hour’ was very welcome!

If I’m honest I didn’t have high expectations when booking this hotel we only needed somewhere to sleep but it exceeded everything, we had a lovely little balcony area, a bath although it was a bit slow to run the room was spacious plenty of cupboards and drawers to store things I was pleasantly surprised, the only complaint is the tea was the worst tea I’ve ever had😂 but we didn’t get food or drinks so I couldn’t possibly comment on that but I couldn’t fault the experience we had if we were ever to go back to Shanklin I’d probably stay again, we loved the fact it was dog friendly too

I stayed here for 4 nights having wanted to book a last minute trip to Shanklin (I love the Chine). I booked a single room at this hotel as it was dead cheap. I had low expectations for the place because it was cheap but it was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and Id thoroughly recommend staying here.

We stayed at the hotel for a long weekend. The staff were nothing but very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The room wasn't a beach view which I really wish we had taken as the hotel is right on the Seafront. The hotel was clean and the room for us and our grandson was a great size. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom with a shower and bath was great. If someone has mobility problems I would suggest a ground floor room because although there was a lift we still had a few stairs to climb. We will definitely request to book again

After reading a varient of mixed reviews we were apprehensive of what to expect but upon arrival staff were friendly, and our room was clean and adequate for our short stay. The hotel is right opposite the beach and within a short walking distance to pubs amusements and the chine. It's also perfectly located for exploring Shanklin. We would certainly return again for another short break.

Lovely stay at this hotel. Free parking was great. Although some areas needed updating, the actual room was nice and large. Clean with fluffy towels and clean bedding. One mattress could have been updated, as you could feel the springs. The only feedback would be the kitchens/service areas below room 127 , there is a door that bangs constantly from 7am in the morning.
