This is such a classy place. Everything was perfect. Kris and Steve were very welcoming and we had a brilliant stay. Great choice at breakfast and the rooms are superbly appointed.

The host Steven was very friendly and encouraged us to treat the place as our own but with respect. The location is lovely and quiet with a personal peacock roaming the grounds. The room was lovely with a modern bathroom. The breakfast was well done and could be made to personal preference. Its a good spot to venture out on walks. I would highly recommend and would return.

We have no complaints on our stay, we only wished that it would’ve been for longer. Our room was extremely comfortable, breakfast was the best! We will be back to explore the area and will definitely try and stay here again

Absolutely sensational. A true hidden gem. Booked this not knowing what to expect but WOW! This place is a work of art. The owners have renovated this lovely building to an exceptional standard. The place feels fit for royalty, and you can definitely see the attention and care to detail the owners have put into this. Room was 10/10 and designed to a very high standard. From when you arrive and walk into the place, you will get an instant feel for how special this stay is. Breakfast 10/10, everything provided and more. Full hot menu alongside plentiful cold options. The owners/hosts were so helpful and friendly and we would recommend this stay to absolutely anyone looking for a peaceful and tranquil stay. Extremely highly rated. You will not be disappointed if you book. Exceptional. Thank you!

Absolutely superb boutique hotel. Beautiful and comfortable surroundings, quality fixtures, furniture and fittings. Tastefully decorated to reflect the period building in a modern way. Spotlessly clean, spacious and every amenity covered. And such a reasonable cost. And finally, professional and courteous hosts. I will be returning without a doubt.

The room was spotless and the staff very courteous. Furnishings and decor were amazing throughout; the breakfast room was delightful. Breakfast selection is very wide catering for most tastes. English breakfast was superb as was the service.

The hotel and room was exquisite, I wasn’t sure what to expect but it genuinely was a beautiful surrounding and a beautiful property. The rooms were spacious, and the attention to detail was exceptional. The breakfast was of excellent quality and I will certainly be staying again.

Wow wow wow ! What a stunning place to stay. Steven one of the owners of the building greeted myself and friend as we arrived. He was such a lovely and accommodating host from the swcond we got to the hotel. Martin work also works at the hotel was wonderful, pretty sure he cooked our breakfasts which were delicious ! What can I say other than it’s been an absolute dream come true and thank you for being so kind.

After the warm welcome, we were shown to our room and all the room facilities were explained properly. The property has so much fascinating history and the current owners have gone thru great lengths to keep it all in the best conditions. We loved the breakfast with a great choice. It is not possible to say how wonderful this hidden gem of a location is. Stephen and Kris were wonderful guests. So welcoming and kind. It was our second to last night of our 8 night trip. A different place every night. Hands down, without question, the most exquisite location we stayed at while driving through England. Their attention to detail, exceptional. Quality of the bedding, towels, bathroom supplies were all the highest quality. I have stayed in more places than I can count throughout my life and this is a place I am already wanting to come back to for the stay. My only regret is that we only booked one night. Had I known of this location I'd have planned on spending at least a few days just to relax and unwind. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Thanks Stephen for the referral to the Lamb Inn... top notch food :)
