The staff were very welcoming. The room was modern and very clean. Nicely done and well presented. Bedding and towels will not be to everyones taste, but functional. Everything good, but the rooms seem to be split larger rooms. Not sure how they are divided but everytime I dozed off the adjoining room had someone coughing that was really loud. Not sure if this is something that they can rectify. The restaurant food was excellent as well. Very good quality and value for money.

My Room, was clean comfortable and welcoming. Had a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed. Food in the bar (Indian) was among the best I've had, service quick and friendly. A good stay. Just as a note the rooms are up steep stairs at the back of the pub which wouldn't be suitable for anyone with a mobility issue

Highly recommend the Pear Tree Inn. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. They have combined a traditional British pub with an excellent Indian restaurant. The food is lovely. The rooms are clean and comfortable

I spent a night here in December, a bit before Christmas time, during a business trip. The Inn is on top of a pub but, to my surprise, it is amazingly quiet. Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well equipped, and it included standard hotel amenities. The bed was comfortable and the temperature was perfect: I slept better than I have in other more famous hotels. I also discovered that the Pear Tree Inn has appeared in 2013 movie The World's end. Overall I had a great stay and I can only recommend the Pear Tree Inn.

Only fault was that they only provided one towel, which we only noticed first thing in the morning. As we were checking out early, there was no one to call to get a second towel. Otherwise, the room was nice and clean, staff were lovely and helpful.
