It's clear this is an exceptional star hotel, right away. All of the staff were wonderful, and the experience was the best we've ever had while in Wales. We were captivated the instant wendy met us at the front door. Our bedroom was also lovely, as were the communal areas. I was unable to help but adore the leather floor coverings, the original artwork, the linens used on the upholstered furniture, and the drapes. But the suede wall coverings were incredibly stunning. Everything you could possibly wish for, from a wonderful shower to delectable breakfasts to an absolute calm at night, was there. I wished I could have stayed for two weeks rather than just two nights. I want to thank server Kim, who took a special trip to the store to get some for my second morning breakfast after discovering that I prefer cranberry juice in the morning that they didn't have. That's service! If your itinerary includes a penrhiw hotel, you won't be disappointed. We will always recall our time there.

This is our first time staying at this place. The place is very well located, the rooms are spacious and modern, and the breakfast that I get is very good, the staffs here are so helpful and friendly. Definitely will come back.

This lovely, characterful, historic property is on the edge of David in a quiet, hidden location yet within walking distance of the center. It is a quiet retreat. The room is spacious, spotless clean and wellappointed. It is obvious that the property is overpriced compared to the main hotel, so it lacks any atmosphere. It is a hostel. Staff appears to be present to clean, maintain, and prepare breakfast, but otherwise, you will rarely see another person. It met our needs for our visit and we would advise it, but we would caution against a lack of atmosphere. Unfortunately, our visit was slowed due to a family emergency, so we had to make a midnight slash home. We understood and completely agreed that full payment would be required, but we were a little dissatisfied to be charged the full price of 50 for two breakfasts the following morning, which we did not have! On this basis, we wouldn't come back.

Very clean, cosy, and peaceful, yet only has to walk into town for supper within a few minutes. Parking is easy on the premises. Very comfortable, nice shower, delicious breakfast. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

This is our second visit here. The hotel is located in a peaceful lane behind the cathedral. This is a beautiful hotel with beautiful gardens. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is great. They are so helpful. Can't wait to go back.
