Throughout my four-day stay, Ive stayed here several times, but I have to say that the premier inn sheffield arena hotel in Atterton is certainly suffering these days. Paint was peeling off throughout the bathroom and bedrooms. Table was obstructing, and it was in dire need of replacement. I asked for a quiet room at the back of the hotel and was given one at the front that faced the busy road. The room didnt clean up during my stay, apparently, but when other hotels clean your room, this is all a money saving hotel!, no tidy towels, no coffee refills, etc. I had to take stuff up to my own room every day since the front desk was happy to provide upon request. hardly a good customer experience!.

I stayed at the premier inns around the world along with some musicians who are friends. The standard has consistently been high, but this one really stood out. There is good access to Sheffield, plenty of parking, and we checked in late. Clean room, beautiful pillows, and large fluffy towels. The best part, although the presentation of the kettle, tea, and coffee was beautifully arranged, may not mean much to many people, but when you've stayed in as many as we have, it's the little details that make the difference! A large group of extended family was staying that night, and the bar remained open late. Everyone was cheerful, and the bar staff handled exceptionally well. I'd like to express my gratitude to the late-night pi team, who were courteous, firm, and good-humoured in providing a diplomacy lesson. Id look forward to returning there five stars.
